Terrible restaurant, worst food any of us have EVER had. Literally left it un eaten, paid, and went elsewhere. Horrific slop. The enterance was grand and pretty, but the rooms were damp, musty and the air conditioning did not work. The walls were also paper thin and the entire hotel had an awful view into the neighbour's apartment building.

Excellent location for train, airport shuttle bus and Canal Du Midi. A great place particularly if you don't like modern soul-less hotels. Plenty of bars and places to eat nearby. Old church that might be worth a visit is only a few 100 metres away. Castle is within fairly easy walking distance. During my visit there was a music festival... More

We did not plan to go to Carcasonne, however upon advice from people we met in Nice, changed plans to visit. What a good idea. Booked two rooms for 4 people ,hotel was busy but staff friendly and helpful . Clean and tidy and convenient to transport, city centre and only 20 mins walk to medieval city. Great stay.

After two days of staying at the Hotel Soleil Terminus, it is clear that the hotel was very beautiful in the past. But now would benefit from a revamp. However for the cost 270euros for 2 nights for 4 incl parking it was great value. It has a sort of faded glamour as seen in 'The Grand Budapest Hotel'. The... More

The hotel lobby was impressive with a piano, beautiful tiles, a marble staircase ,brass banisters, lovely lighting and cornicing. The location was great as it is near lots of shops, restaurants and cafes and there are two supermarkets nearby. There is also good bus service to and from the airport leaving from the Chenier stop close to the hotel. Although... More

Booked for 2 nights including Bastille Day. Great views from our corner room on second floor, including the fireworks over the old city. Very large room traditional style.. Didn't feel the maids cleaned that well on a daily basis. Tea and coffee in the room, Nespresso style which wasn't replenished overnight. Close to eateries and main centre. Wifi in room... More

It might be a bit over the top to give five star to this old girl but all considered She deserves it. This July the 14th ,the Bastille , we stayed at Terminus in Carcassonne namely to take part in the celebrations and soak up the truly happy atmosphere. Firstly congratulation to the City of Carcassonne for putting such a... More

if you're shopping the net for a hotel deal you will get what you pay for. The Terminus Hotel has seen its best days about a hundred years ago. The building's design is beautiful, set on a small hill overlooking a verdant park. The lobby is cavernous, a good 2 stores high with a fabulous staircase as its focal point.... More

Hotel is excellent. Situation perfect. Easy access to Canal du Midi, commercial city and medieval city. Staff charming and helpful. Bar Felix in main square delightful spot for a glass of wine. Boat trips on Canal most enjoyable and informative. Hotel perfect place to stay to celebrate special birthday.

Very convenient for railway station, just 5 mins walk. This hotel is over 100 years old and was once one of the best hotels in the south of France. I would suggest that three star is more appropriate these days as parts of the hotel are 'faded glory', although the architecture is impressive. Breakfast is good despite frustrating hot drink...
