Once found, the peacefullness and care shown to the traveler by Carole is extroidinary and far beyond any other place we stayed on our two week trip thruout southern France. Great sized room for two with about a 10 minute walk uphill to the old castle. Spectacular view of the castle from the front porch where I enjoyed a glass... More

We stayed here for 2 nights at the beginning of September. Like others said, it is a bit hard to find, but no more than lots of places in Southern French villages. Having GPS helps to get around. The room was nice. Good size, clean, extras like a desk and free wifi. Breakfast was typical French breakfast with lots of... More

Stayed here for 3 nights during an exploration of southern France. It is a property with large grounds, and our room at least, was pleasant and spacious, with a large bathroom. Carole, the proprietress, was most helpful coming up to the time of the stay, with lots of tips. The property itself has a pleasant swimming pool, and ample parking.... More

We spent two nights in this wonderful city. Carole has a beautiful house in a great location below the Cite and within a short walk to the shops, restaurants and bars, with a lovely pool to relax in after spending time exploring. Carole shows you on a map all the sights and gives great tips on when best to visit.... More

Madame Carole is very welcoming, allowed us to leave our luggage in the room, even though it was not ready as we arrived early, she showed us where the main places where by marking them on maps of the old and new Carcassonne. Carole recommended couple of restaurants and kindly booked one for us ( see review Auberge des Lices... More

Madame Carole is wonderful providing a lovely place to stay, beautiful garden for relaxing and all the things you need to make your stay great. It is just at the bottom of the hill so Carcassonne town and castle complex are a short climb away. Carole booked some great restaurants for us and gave us all the information we needed... More

Our hostess, Carole, very kindly picked us up from the airport. She was very welcoming and helpful, she gave us maps and spent quite some time with us explaining where to go and what to do, showing us good restaurants etc. The house is really attractive and very convenient for both the walled city and the main town. The pool... More

We spent three nights at the Les Palmiers de la Cite at the end of June and had a lovely time. Carol and her family became a special part of our holiday with their friendliness. As many other reviews have said, the rooms are very clean, breakfast is great and the location ideal for exploring both parts of the city.... More

Carole and her husband looked after us like we were one of their own when we stayed there last week for a couple of days. Their lovely B&B is situated right next to the old city but still manages to feel like it is situated in the middle of the country. Walking back to the B&B by night you see... More

This was great B&B in a great location. It is set in open spacious fields, alongside a small river, and you wouldn't believe the walk to the 'downtown' old medievil city is just a 5 minute stroll through the park and across the original stone bridge (pedestrian only). A lovely walk with our dog. You would believe that its only... More
