This hotel is right under the castle in the old city. Our room was on the small side but adequate and it was clean. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We ate dinner there and it was good and not very expensive. There is a small rooftop terrace with a great view of the castle.

we were only here for a night but we enjoyed our stay. the women at the desk were very nice. good value, clean but old, good location right by the castle. and if you don't pop in for some cassoulet at Le Trivalou right down the street, you're missing out.

We arrived very late due to missed trains, and the owner came and unlocked for us. The first proof that they were extremely accommodating and pleasant. Our rooms were above a garden, and we had a large area all to ourselves for a great price! Short walk to the castle. Only wish we had had more time there.

From the Hotel du Pont Vieux it is a 5 minute uphill walk to the medieval Cité, in a quiet street. Don't expect a corporate bland hotel - this is full of character and charm, coupled with a genuine warm welcome. Clean and comfortable room, with good breakfast at a reasonable price.
