As all of the other reviews have said, the suite is large and comfortable and Sally is a great host. And she's British, so you don't have to worry about a language problem. Location is perfect for exploring Carcassonne. The property is a little difficult to find since there is no number. Just look for the great big door next... More

We stayed here for only one night, and wish we had stayed longer. Ther is a lot too see in Carcassone and the BnB is very good. There are 2 rooms with a sitting area and bathroom, and I think Sally always rents the area as a whole, so if you only use one room, you don't have to share... More

We chose No 11 after reading the wonderful reviews on Tripadvisor and we were not disappointed! The enormous stone staircase leading up to the historic apartment on the top floor definitely has the 'wow' factor. The apartment itself is light and airy with a wonderful French feel to it. Our bedroom was spacious and tastefully decorated with most unbelievably comfortable... More

We stayed with Sally for one night to finsh off a weekend of glamping with a bit of luxury and to view the magnificent architecture of Carcassone. Can't fault the place. It had great character, with a 16th century staircase on entry. Bed was lovely, bathroom nice and clean. Great location right next to the old bridge. Sally was really... More

We enjoyed a very comfortable stay of four nights at No. 11 in Carcassonne. Sally is a warm and gracious host, welcoming us with tea and biscuits in our rooms upon our arrival. Parking is an easy walk away, as is the old Cite and the shops of the Bastide. No.11 is located on the top floor of a 12th... More

My husband and I, along with our 23-year-old son, stayed in Sally's lovely suite on Sunday, April 15th, 2012. We had only one day/night in Carcassonne and it proved to be a memorable one due to weather. We visited the fortress in the afternoon when it began to rain and a full-fledged thunderstorm with horizontal sleet broke out when we... More

My sister and I stayed at Number 11 for two nights (April 10-12 2012) and have to say it was one of the most enjoyable experiences we have had in our travels. Our train from Narbonne ended up being delayed and arrived late at night but Sally was extremely accommodating and arranged for a taxi to pick us up at... More

I can almost, almost give this great B&B stars. It gets 4 because: 1. Its address is "No.11" but it is out of order compared to the other places on the street, AND it doesn't say "11" above the door; and 2. The little box showing the names of the occupants within doesn't show the same name for the host... More

No. 11 Bed and Breakfast was the perfect spot to stay while exploring and experiencing Carcassonne. Everything everyone has said about No. 11 is spot on: Sally is the consummate hostess; the building is magnificent; and the accommodations wonderful. Peaceful, wonderful, restful place to rest one's head after a day filled with adventure. I'd highly recommend it to anyone visiting... More

Sally's B&B was ideal for exploring the ancient city and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend staying there to anyone. The room was very comfortable, spacious and private. This is a B&B where Sally gets the small details right, and that makes a difference. The breakfast was something to look forward to, with fresh fruit on the table. My partner is... More
