Good location, close to the old medievial city. Hotel looks a bit worndown from the outside. Staff is ok. Rooms are sooo small. I stayed on my own in a 2persons room, but never the less:very small room. If you have a suitcase, it might not fit in the room. Bathroom..... Small

Have just returned from a 3 night stay in this hotel. The rooms and shower rooms are small,as others have mentioned, but they are clean, comfortable, and fine for a city break ,when you do not spend much time in them! The staff were friendly, helpful, and speak English,if your French, like mine,is a bit rusty!Think they appreciated my effort! The breakfast, whilst slightly limited in choice ,was... Not much to say about this property except yup don't always get what you pay for. As far as budget hotels go this I not cheap. Set in the corner of a large arid square, the hotel seems to be hiding from public view. The room we had is one of the smallest we have ever had with a bathroom to... More

I would not recommend this hotel if you manage to find another place in a city that is quite touristy in the high season. Compared to what it offers (and also compared to other Ibis Hotels) it is very overpriced. Rooms are very small, bathrooms tiny (impossible to fit two people into the bathroom), bed had a bunkbed over our... More

No frills hotel pleasant scenic 15 minute walk to old City crossing the medieval bridge and views to the castle. European breakfast was satisfying. Rooms are cozy and bathrooms are very small. Staff very helpful, a good base to sleep while you explore during the day.

This was a great location and the hotel was fine. The staff were very friendly and the garage is secure for storing our bicycles. The staff also recommended a great place to eat :) It's just a short walk to the cite and the views from the bridge (round the corner from the hotel) are amazing.

Located near the heart of Carcassonne on a busy thoroughfare. Ten minutes walk from rail station and also the old city. Only five minutes to the main shopping centre. Rooms were very cramped especially the bathroom and the price paid reflected the popularity of the city. Free wifi but breakfast separate at 9.5 euro.

Perfect location as it's a lovely 10 minutes stroll to la cite or in the other direction into Carcassonne. Compared to other etap/ibis hotels our room was smaller. Still a good standard. I like the vending machines for coffee and snacks provided in other ibis receptions. This does NOT have one - coffee and water is expensive.

The staff were very helpful and whilst we didn't have breakfast it looked great- vast choice of pastries, meats, cereals etc. The bed was one if the most comfy experienced in many hotels including 4/5 star hotels. Location was ideal in the middle of the old and new town so easy walking everywhere. There us a bus stop around the... More
