About a 12 min walk from the main train station and about 7 min walk to the Cite...castle and ramparts. The staff were excellent and friendly, location fantastic. Only two small draw backs...the walls are a bit thin, so if you have loud neighbours????......you can hear them, but that's why they invented ear plugs. Some of the bedding needs an... More

Ibis Carcasonne Center is conveniently located in the town center. We arrived in the late evening and were able to park on the street near the hotel for free until the following morning (leave by 9 AM or pay for parking). The desk clerk spoke wonderful English and was very helpful. We appreciated her restaurant recommendation which was a short... More

The rooms are smaller than some Ibis and don't profit from the cabin bathrooms that the new/upgraded hotels have but it was clean and comfortable. We paid 58 euros and found it good value. Situated within an easy walk of the citadel and the city centre. Staff were friendly and helpful.

A cheap hotel, in which you get what you pay for - a clean, small room, with a clean, small bathroom. Friendly and helpful staff and an underground car park that was a nightmare to get into :) A good location close to the main roads and the castle. Breakfast was the usual good value Ibis buffet .

Wasn't expecting a cold breakfast buffet, but for the price it's okay. Staff was lovely and the hotel was in close proximity to the medieval (old) town and the city centre. The pictures on this website on Ibis is not a true representation of the hotel.

This was a rushed booking and I only read the reviews on the hotel's site - 5-- and they used only the good ones. Deceitful. The percentage of guests who were disastified with this hotel is larger than those who were satisfied. Positive- bed good. Receptionist very helpful. BBC news channel, breakfast good, continental- but 9,50 euro (not cheap for... More

Good price but not a great hotel and needs a bit of decorating Got to say it had the smallest bathroom of any hotel I have ever been in and if sitting on the toilet you couldn't close the door without hitting your knees Location was decent enough 10 minutes to The Cite and on the positive side all staff...
