We stayed here at either end of a trip to see friends about two hours from Carcassonne - as we were travelling with small children for the first time we an evening on our own at either end of our holiday. This was the perfect location - we had adjoining rooms - two travel cots were provided and the staff... More

The hotel is located about a five minute walk from La Cite and about a 20 minute walk from the city centre which makes it an ideal place to explore Carcassonne. The hotel also has a limited amount of free parking which makes it even more desirable. The staff were friendly and efficient and multilingual which was a bonus. The... More

Very impressed by this hotel. Room was a good size and selected to meet our needs. Staff helpful and friendly, especially staff in the restaurant (breakfast and dinner). Food at dinner was superb - would recommend sampling the oysters, scallops and salmon..Bar is really cosy and being winter a nice log fire was burning.. Very close (5 minute walk) to... More

The biggest draw for this hotel is its proximity to the Cité de Carcassonne. The hotel has its own private parking lot which alleviates the hassle and expense of finding a parking space in the public lots. The Narbonne Gate is only a few minute walk from the hotel. The hotel itself is modern and clean. Our room had a... More

Booked the hotel as a stop over on our journey from Spain to the UK as we had always wanted to visit Carcassonne and try cassoulet! The hotel appeared to be undergoing some refurbishment and a few days before we arrived, were told that the restaurant would be closed as they had a large reception on for the local rugby... More

Service was excellent as soon as we set foot in the hotel with brochures of where to visit and a welcoming fire place to sit by at the bar or while reading. Front desk upgraded us to a superior room on a arrival, room was very sound proof, very clean, coffee and tea free facilities, huge bath, bed was comfortable,... More

Wonderful location for exploring the old city!!!!!! Rooms were very clean, small but adequate in size. It was very nice to be able to walk and walk and walk and be able to really feel a part of this wonderful area. Certainly I will recommend this hotel as a very good choice.

We stayed here during visit to the old medieval city. We found it very clean, excellent, helpful staff. Very quiet for good night sleep. We opted for the premier room with a tub. Breakfast typical buffet, very good. Everything about the stay was great.

Very close to the old city, with free parking. Nice staff. Nice room with comfy beds, fridge, TV, Nespresso machine, safe. Didn't eat at the restaurant, seemed expensive. Overall, a bit expensive hotel but good stay.
