Hello Folks, If you find the review of help, please press the green tab at the end. THANKS. My Wife and I stayed here on Sunday 14th June, 2015. The hotel is just outside the City Walls, on the other side of a large car park. Perhaps a 5 minute stroll. The hotel is a walled property, with security barrier... More

This is the perfect hotel to explore the wonders of Carcassonne as you are right near the entrance! You can walk everywhere! Very well designed in a modern style and nicely managed by a professional staff!

The main reason to stay here is it's location - very short walk to LaCite. Rooms are large, bright, and clean but lack charm. Generous breakfast buffet, nice pool area, helpful staff, easy parking are other perks.

We enjoyed our room 89 in this hotel. Our room was a privilege room. After having traveled quite a bit in Europe, I learned to avoid the cheapest rooms because often they will be very tight and come with not-so-pleasant views. I was happy with the extra dollar I spent as our room was generously sized with a king size... More

Well appointed premises, clean rooms, good hot water pressure in showers and last but not least, private parking is offered at no additional cost. The hotel is located within an easy five minute walk from the main entrance of La Cite and Ramparts.

It is a hotel you will not like on first instance. Slowly you see the clean linen, modern bathrooms, good service, good breakfast, evening meals were also good and well prepared. The room size is small. Very Functional. We could go to the Medeival city , have lunch in the 5 star hotel and be back to rest and go... More

Who needs to drag their bags over cobble stone streets when we've got Mercure? Very close to the gate, very nice and polite staff, clean rooms and even accepts AX points! There was a small problem with our room and they changed rooms for us right away. Don't waste your time inside the walls. This place is a 5 minute walk... More

This hotel is less than a five minute walk to the renovated fortress. Reception was good and accomodating, the rooms are very clean and comfortable and definitely a 3 star. It is a good value as are most Mercure hôtels.

Ended up at the Mercure by accident. (Needed accommodation within walking distance of the medieval Cite & ideas for trips into the local area.) Ended up on a package tour and picked their nearest listed - the Mercure. Turned out to be a gem. Enough English-speaking staff available 24/7, and they were easily competent to deal effectively with the idiosyncracies... More
