Perfect for a stopover. Opposite a hypermarket and near a petrol station. Not exactly near the tourist areas. But the price reflects that. We didn't eat at the hotel but we had breakfast which was perfectly acceptable. Plenty of parking. I'd certainly recommend it for a stopover.

Rooms on the smaller size but clean. Great location, walking distance to the old town. Friendly and very helpful staff with fluency in English, which is not always the case if you travel in France. Close proximity to the highway which was ideal for us to hit the road again in the morning bypassing local traffic.

Stayed here the nights of July 21 and 22, 2014. Had a tough time trying to find a hotel room and finally decided on The Campanile. Turns out Le Tour de France passed by here today and most hotels wee booked. We felt The Campanile offered the most bang for the buck. We arrived by train at 21:00 with no... More

Best Campanile hotel we stayed at on our trip. It is a very modern hotel with spacious comfortable rooms. Excellent value. It is a bit out of town but close to the highways. Good breakfast. Big free secure carpark. 5 minute drive to the old town. Excellent choice if travelling by car.

Stayed here for one night last week, didn't realise until we arrived that it was Bastille Day so the room price had gone up a little! Hotel was clean, modern and bright, friendly and helpful staff, nice room and free car parking. We had our evening meal in the hotel restaurant which was very pleasant. About a 25 minute walk... This was our first time in a Campanile Hotel and have to say it was excellent, the rooms were very modern and spotlessly clean. When we arrived we had a problem getting into our room key not working, and the gentleman on reception immediately gave us a new room apparently a battery problem. From our room we could see the walls of "... Good value hotel considering the low prices. The restaurant offers delicious, affordable food. When my partner and I travel we never eat at the hotel, except for this one! Rooms were clean and staff were friendly and happy to speak in English when needed. Good location (if you have a car).

I was realy surprised with the quality of the service, the room and the food. All the staff was so friendly and nice. I'll have no doubts staying there again, in case I'll need staying in Carcassonne once again.

This simple hotel is located in the eastern outskirts of the city, near the main roads that lead to many of the Cathar towns and castles of the region, so that getting out and back in at the end of the day is pretty easy. It is at a 20 to 30 minutes walk from the Carcassonne "Cité", so that... More

Although the actual location is not brilliant, like many Campaniles it is on a retail park, it is only a few minutes drive from the medieval city. The hotel is clean and comfortable with fair size rooms. The food is good value for money and while the breakfast is basic the evening buffets are excellent. But the staff are second... More
