This is a small 4 room bed & breakfast. We had the large bedroom at the front of the house – 80m² - and it is a lovely old French chateau style room with enormous ceilings and rustic furniture. Serge and Muryel were very friendly and helpful hosts despite limited English. Only tiny criticism is that there was a notice... More

This B&B was absolutely beautiful. Our family-sized room was huge, beautifully decorated and very comfortable. This property was a former winery converted to a wonderful home and B&B. The hosts, Serge and Muryel, could not do enough to make you comfortable. Perfect hosts. The breakast they served was wonderful. I would highly recommend this place to anyone in the area.... More

We have just spent a week at the Domaine de Marseillens and we cannot speak highly enough about this bed and breakfast. It is perfect in every way and we would recommend that you choose it ahead of any other accommodation in the area. The property is run by Serge and Muyrel who are the best hosts you will meet... Have just returned from a 3 night stay, we arrived to glorious sunshine from a very dull cold uk, always a bonus. Our room was lovely, with steps out to a little seating area where we could enjoy the sunshine and the pool. Muryel and Serge are wonderful and friendly hosts, they made us feel so welcome, and we loved... More

After a little difficulty finding the place we found our stay here really great. It is very clean, the decor is amazing, and lots of attention to detail have gone into the whole establishment. Our room had some amazing pieces of furniture and paintings, and the bathroom was spotless and tastefully done. The bed was clean cosy and comfortable. We... More

..we arrived as it was getting dark dark and left fairly early the next day so only a quick visit. The hosts were excellent - both very personable - and made a special effort for a well presented breakfast. Rooms are in an old wine mill so have tall ceilings and stone walls and an old country feel. Good location... More

We stayed for 3 nights mid October in the Safari room ............it was a pretty cool sort of room with lots of wall and table ornaments and rugs etc decking it out like a safari room - the only hitch being getting 'quite famillier' with your parters toilet habits due to the non-door curtain thingo ........ Breakfast was pretty solid... More

We visited Carcassonne with our 3 kids and needed a place to stay over night. Domaine de Marseillens was certainly more authentic experience than typical hotel stay - one huge room (no need to get 2 separate adjoining rooms), small pool and cosy garden at the back. Especially breakfast was great and really made our stay more personable. We shared... More

If you like quirky, this is great - my wife loved the room, which (I am told) had an African feel to it.... You hang your clothes in an old trunk standing upright, and there's all sorts of other stuff like a set of horns on the radiator, an old globe, etc., etc. Fine if you like that sort of... More

We stayed one night here in September and wished we could transport this property to other regions and stay again and again. The building itself is a spectacular old homestead and it's beautifully decorated and styled Serge and Muryiel have done a great job in this respect. We ended up in a huge room that would've slept 4 or 5... More
