We stayed here for 3 nights. It was a very pleasant experience. Joel (the host) was very kind. He welcomed us and immediately showed us to our room. The bunk beds are sectioned off with a door so that the parents can have some privacy. The shower was good the only thing is that the water gets very hot and... More

I admit to liking old colonial hotels in Africa rather than slick motels with staff who tell me to have nice day. This is a lovely old apartment block, though our room had been recently and tastefully decorated, with a statue over the bath, interesting shelves "with a roof" in the bathroom, and a painted table. Bed was comfoirtable too.... More

Lovely town house but dark and scruffy - could so easily be tidied up, We didnt have breakfast but the outside, detached greenhouse where breakfast was taken looked rather like a health hazard to us ! Our bedroom was depressing with a tiny THIN WALLED corner shower room and THE most horrid ,faded ,thin towels. some road noise. Fairly handy... More

Found by luck. Joel very good host. Very large room on second floor. Lovely shower room too. Communal facilities including kitchen area, fridge and microwave, TV and sitting area. Pretty garden. Walking distance to La Cite and the shops, station and new town of Carcassonne. Breakfast in the conservatory was fantastic with choices of juices, breads croissants, meats cheeses and... More

Our room was huge and pleasant, as was the bathroom (which had a bathtub on one wall and a shower on the other). The breakfast was excellent and there was much more variety than most French breakfasts (there were the usual tartines, croissants, orange juice and hot beverages, but also fresh fruit, meats and cheeses, yogurts, and hard-boiled eggs). Breakfast... More

stayed for 3 nights,,my room was clean.quiet and well furnished..everything you would need..the house is wonderful..very 'quirky' with period furniture blended with modern functional stuff...the garden area was ideal to sit and relax in after returning from sightseeing..oddly missmatched chairs and garden furniture that added charm to the garden,,breakfast was taken in the greenhouse-a novel touch..the host joel was very... We have been to Carcassonne many times before, but this was the first time we had actually stayed there, and struck gold with the au Domisiladore. It is ideally placed, a two minute walk from the Place Davilla bus stop where the airport navette stops, and a 10 minute walk from Place Carnot. We had the family room on the... More

We stayed here for a few nights in September. Joel was very kind and very accommodating! Our room was great....roomy and comfortable and overlooked a very peaceful garden that we thoroughly enjoyed! The location was also perfect...an easy walk to the train station and all the highlights of Carcassonne. We would definitely recommend this place!

Fabulous place. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The breakfasts were delicious - particularly the bread - served in the quaint sun-room in a gorgeous garden setting. Joel was a fabulous host - very welcoming and helpful. We found the location to be ideal - exactly as described - in a quiet residential area within easy access of the old... More

Enjoyed a 2-night stay at Au Domisiladore - what a wonderful treat! The host was very welcoming, warm and friendly. The room was very comfortable and I felt immediately at home in the house itself. I found the perfect spot for inspiration and relaxation in the lush back garden, while the renovated greenhouse for breakfast was sublime. I'd highly recommend... More
