Au Domisiladore is located approximately 10 mins walk from the train station. Everywhere of interest in Carcassonne is within a 30 minute easy walk. The building is an impressive old house in a primarily residential area, with high ceilings, spiral feature staircase and somewhat theatrical décor. We had a huge bedroom on the second floor which had views over the... More

After reading great reviews on trip advisor , we chose this place for our 3 nights in carcassonne . It also had a special deal during November , so an excellent price! Lovely rooms, shower, comfy beds, great breakfast and, above all, the friendly and efficient Joel ! Location is very handy for both town centre and cite , plus... More

Stayed for one night. Room could definitely do with being updated, and the bread at the breakfast looked like toasted leftovers. Chairs in glasshouse/breakfast room were not comfortable, as a matter of fact one wondered if something might collapse.

Had five days in Carcassonne. This lovely, quaint 150 year old house was ideally placed for everywhere. The host, Joel could not have been more friendly or helpful. A valuable source of local information. The breakfasts are fine and the rooms unusually different. The garden is a little oaysis to sit in either afternoon or late evening to catch the... More

OK guys, so you have a choice in Carcassonne of corporate hotels that look the same wherever you go or something charming and authentic. This a real find and very reasonably priced. Large high ceilings in the bedrooms ( mine a marble fireplace) that are light and airy. You get a very warm welcome from Joel the host who goes... More

The room was spacious. The owner was very friedly and helpful. The bnb is in a good location. The breakfast is served in a green house and it was very good (nutella too). The cleaningness of the whole bnb was not great. We stayed here 2 days and they didn't do our room. The whole building is beautiful but looks... More

We stayed here this May. It's right by the bastide, so within easy walking distance of both that and the cite. We had a lovely room on the 2nd floor, overlooking the garden. Lots of space, and a huge bathroom with separate bath and shower. Plentiful breakfasts, and a very entertaining and helpful host. Car parking nearby, but I guess... More

After searching countless hotels in la cite and la ville basse I chose Au Domisiladore because I wanted a boutique hotel with a more personalised experience and it didn't disappoint. It is in a convenient location within easy reach of the airport and just a minute from the shuttle bus stop. The owner, Joel, is cheery and helpful, taking time... More

I stayed in this cozy B&B for 2 weeks while I was studying French in Carcassonne. The house is located at the quiet peripheral of the city while it is 5 min walk to the commercial centre and less than 20 min walk to the medieval fortress. The room was spacious and equipped with a comfortable bed and clean bathroom.... More

My wife and I stayed in a lovely B&B where the owner, Joel, is as happy and friendly as can be - to the point where he posted a garment we had left back to us in the UK. The place is clean and roomy with a lovely breakfast and breakfast room and facilities to make hot drinks and heat... More
