Relaxing in quiet, peaceful surroundings, with just the birds for company, and a sunny deck by an inviting blue pool. We very much enjoyed the tranquility on offer at Le domaine de loustalviel, tremendous cleanliness and spacious. Julian and Nigel are very good hosts, most helpful and accommodating in respect of the pool, even in October and November!!! The surrounding... More

My family and I had an amazing time here, Nigel and Julian were wonderful hosts and arranged constant sunshine for us to enjoy too. The gites are clean and well equipped and the pool and grounds are heaven sent. We genuinely hope to return in 2012. More

We had a wonderful week in this beautiful property. The owners, Julian and Nigel, keep the property, pool and grounds immaculate. We couldn't fault anything. They are friendly and helpful. We took up the option of a lovely home cooked meal on the night of our arrival and spent a very pleasant evening with our hosts and their other guests.... More

We had a lovely time at Loustalviel. We loved the old building, with all the modern conveniences. The little nearby town and slightly larger villages a bit away were charming and had wonderful shopping. We went to several village weekly markets and cooked all our meals at the gite, inside or using the little chimney grill. Early March was a... More

I've just spent a delightful week at Le Domaine de Loustalviel with my family. The countryside is almost like a cliche its so utterly idyllic! Its a very peaceful area-it you want bars and cafes, this isn't for you. If you want to sit and contemplate the mountains, swim in a lovely pool, read books and possibly even have supper... More

Stunning scenery from the Domaine and in the local area; quiet roads, easy to navigate... even the old fashined way (without sat nav). Think the owners may have made it their personal responsibility to visit each winery and eating establishment within a 45 minute drive to give personal recommendation to guests - looking forward to reading updates on the website... Had a lovely holiday here in May 2011 with friends. The property was beautiful in a fantastic peaceful location with great 'impressionist country' views and wildlife - I will definately bring my paint brush with me next time! The facilites are really comfortable and cosey and exceeded our expectations - lots of space, well equiped kitchen and all the mod'... More

Excellent rural location with views of the pyrenees. Superb pool - heated and large enough to swim in! Spacious house, well equipped. The hosts are on site, very keen to please but not intrusive. They also provide a haute cuisine evening meal on request. A wonderful, very private place to relax. More

Just returned from a visit and can highly recommend it. Wonderful place for a completely relaxing holiday. Fantastic scenary and the accommodation was second to none. The owners of the property who live on site, couldn't have been more helpful but did not intrude unless asked. Beautiful pool area. If you want a complete rest from the hustle and bustle... More
