My husband and I, avid travelers, made a stop at the domaine during our recent road trip through much of Europe, starting and ending in our home in Sweden. The location of the domaine, achieved after driving wonderfully winding roads through striking yellow fields of rapeseed, was one of the most idyllic of the whole journey. We had the opportunity... Spent a fantastic relaxing week here with family. We stayed at LoustalBeau with great views over the Pyrennees that you never tire of. Perfect hosts, Nigel and Julian, make sure that you have everything you need and it is worth asking for their hosted meal - delicious! We managed to visit lots of the local sites while we were there.... More

My husband and I spent the first week of our honeymoon in Loustalbeau in September and we had the most wonderful time. Loustabeau is a gorgeous house with a huge glass arched window which frames the pyrenees in the distance - a view you could never tire of! The house is very comfortably furnished and felt like a home away... More

My wife and I spent a delightful week in late September in the L'Ostalet house. The accommodations, the grounds, the scenery and, especially, the hosts could not have been nicer. As we traveled about the surrounding area, we experienced a wide variety of very interesting sites. We walked the narrow lanes and pedestrian squares in the small hilltop villages, we... More

We spent a lovely week in LoustalNeuf. The location is beautiful and the views of the Pyrenees as you wake in the morning are spectacular. The property was beautiful and well equipped with TV, DVDs, books and Wii. Plenty of space for the kids and a lovely big bedroom upstairs where they were able to chill out. The swimming pool... More

What a wonderful place this is. We are ardent travellers and have visted over 75 countries together but we've never stayed anywhere quite as beautiful, peaceful and serene as this. We spent a week in LoustalBeau with its large window facing the Pyrenees - what a great view to wake up to in the morning or to watch as the... More

This is the perfect place to unwind and forget it all. It is very rural and the silence, sunshine and peace soothe from the moment of arrival. Julian and Nigel are consummate hosts and their property is superbly run, brilliantly clean and the best equipped we have ever experienced in decades of travel. We stayed in L'Ostalet, which is the... More

We stayed two weeks at Le Domaine de Loustalviel in the spacious LoustalBeau cottage. We can't think of a better place to stay and greatly enjoyed our time there. It was peaceful and relaxing. Whilst not immediately adjacent to the "Must See" attractions in the area, it is centrally located, and all are in easy driving distance. If you want... More

This property is really well situated - only 15 minutes from the mediaeval city of Mirepoix, in 25 minutes you can be in the Pyrenees, a similar time to the wine region of Limoux and also Carcasonne, and only a little more to Toulouse. But there is so much to tempt you not to leave the property - the views... More

We had a fabulous time with our young family. Loustaviel is a fantastic place with 3 separate gites each with their own garden area and BBQ + the property of the owners. The property is in isolated rural France and makes a great, safe space to let your young children run free- our boys of 4 and 6 loved it.... More
