I really think the other reviewers are being snobby/stuck up/spoiled. I'm doing a motorcycle tour across all of Europe over four months, and have stayed at more than 30 locations so far. This campsite is up there in my top 5 for sure. The staff was unbelievably friendly, helpful, and personable. Over my 4 day stay I got to know... More

Came here on our way to the South West of France specifically to attend the flood lit fountains spectacular and fireworks in the gardens of Versailles. As we had little time we used this site out of necessity and found it incredibly expensive. Being used to crowding on French sites we were not unduly phased to see how tightly packed... More

This was the nearest campsite we could find to Versailles.. It was ok. I think us British our spoilt when it comes to our homegrown campsites and we are used to big pitches. So this place was much smaller. But we enjoyed our stay and its in a pretty area. We would visit again!

As I said you've read all the reviews, yes fantastic location, the place is always packed so the chances of any improvements are slim, didn't think much to the food in the cafe but they said it's a reduced menu because of the time of year, toilets and showers were clean and there was no issues with hot water, this... This was a beautiful woodland location, with terraced camping pitches, as well as cabins and other quirky accommodation such as the gypsy caravans and canadienne cabins. We were out of season so the pool was closed, but during main season this would beg eat, there is also a pizzeria and bar. The only downside for us was being autumn, we were... More

The entrance/waiting area while booking-in is far too small, there is only space for a two or three caravans/camper-vans in a residential cul-de-sac. This causes a daily chaos for campers trying to leave or return to the site and local residents alike. The pitch was down an incline and the caravan could only be positioned with the aid of a... Good location and excellent that you can park car next to your tent pitch. Unfortunately the weather was awful, it rained heavily, resulting in many people queuing and arguing over the use of the single tumble dryer, which just is not adequate for a campsite this size. The pool is heated and the kids looked like they were enjoying it,... More

We stayed here one night, in August 2015, on our way home to the Netherlands, from Southern France. It is a great base to catch a train to Paris for a day trip, however the venue itself is in need of a good manager and some serious improvements... Thefirst point for improvement is access: As we checked in, and left... More

We (my husband and I + 3 kids) stayed in one of the cahuttes for 5 days, and even though the weather wasn't great, we loved it there! The cahutte was very cozy and the fireplace kept us warm when the sun failed to. The beds were comfortable, the shower was great and the surroundins beautiful! It's easy to find... More

The location is fabulous. Very close to amenities including train station which takes you to Paris in about 20 mins or Versailles in about 2 mins. It is also a walk of about 2 miles to Versailles. Chalet was well equipped, good range of pots, pans, plates, glasses, cutlery, bedding etc. Kitchen area had gas hob, microwave, fridge with small... More
