The hotel is nice looking indeed a bit modern (but not trendy at all) I found the rooms clean and comfortable, with plenty of space and a good desk to work. The bed quality was just fair (bellow my expectation for a 4 star hotel). Bathroom was also nice and modern. Wi-Fi connection was free and good. On the other... More

Exactly what I want and need for a business trip. Clean, simple, friendly, quiet hotel. Great location, easy to reach nearby bars and restaurants. Also a great restaurant within the hotel. I always enjoy breakfast. Rooms are great. Would definitely recommend to fellow business travellers!

We were traveling France for a week. We stayed in Mercure in Caen very nice. Thought we would try another. Generally disappointed. There are many hotels in Versaille, suggest shop around for better deal. When we called for a hotel, it was later in the day. They noted how close to the train they were and everything was in working... More

We wanted a good hotel for three nights in Paris that would not break the bank. Unable to book what we wanted on the website, we phoned the booking line and were offered two rooms for three nights, with breakfast, for 214 Euros. OK, the phone call took a while, at 10P a minute, and they charge 12 Euros a... More

First time in Versailles and at the hotel Mercury with the Mrs. Staff were very friendly even if they didn't know how the parking in the street meters worked? They left the desk and walked up the road to help, but I worked it out on my own in the end. All in all the staff were very very helpful.... More

We booked this hotel for its Central Versailles location. Welcoming staff who were extremely helpful particularly with parking in the underground garage. Room scrupulously clean and of medium size with a perfectly acceptable en-suite. Buffet breakfast as would be expected in this type of hotel. No additional facilities e.g. Bar but there are plenty of places from which to choose... More

I stayed at the hotel for 2 nightts. Very friendly and helpfull staff. The room and bed very average, no sure if good value for money. Shower drained poorly, after 20 minute shower felt like I was standing in paddling pool.

Stay here for a weekend in July 2014 and had a great stay. Good breakfast to start the day off,. Right in the centre of town and literally 15 mins walk to the palace this hotel could not be better placed for a weekend break. Lots of restaurants and cafes on the same street so have a great stay

We stayed here with our 11 year old daughter so we had a family room which was plenty big enough for our needs for two nights. We had problems finding the hotel and once we got there it was tricky to park as the carpark was booked up and our car too big!! Nevertheless there was plenty of free street... More

We stayed for one night on a recent visit. We arrived by train from Paris and had some difficulty finding the hotel. I had printed walking instructions from google maps which proved insufficient. We asked two police officers who had no idea where it was and they sent us to city hall to ask. It turns out we were one... More
