I found the Hotel Karraz on the internet, and decided to try it as it seemed to be in a good position, have larger than normal rooms, and in addition it was a self contained apartment which reduces costs. Our welcome by the owner, Karraz, couldn't have been more friendly. He let us check in early and he personally showed us where the local supermarket and ATM was.
