Arrived early on Wednesday with my daughters, the manager was pleasant and helpful and let us leave our bags whilst he was preparing our room. Very basic hotel but clean and on top of the station and within walking distance of the river and several places of interest. On our last day he let us keep the room on for... More

Karraz Hotel is a terrific hotel, simple but tidy, clear, comfort and romantic. It locates in Paris’s downtown and can walk to the subway in 2 minutes, walk to the Lourvre Museum and the Seine River in less 10 minutes. It’s very convenient to visit scenic spots or to go shopping Life would be more convenient if you live in... More

My wife and I had 5 great nights at this centrally located hotel. Close to Metro and lots of restaurants. The room was very clean and it was a bonus to have a kitchen area. The manager was friendly and helped us carry our bags up to the 3rd floor

The location is very good and staff was friendly and helpful. But be informed the building is very narrow without lift. Stairs are old and narrow, up to 5 floor... It's very uncomfortable if you have any problem with walking. I'm a bit confused if it's name is Karraz hotel or Appart hotel. I had trouble to identify the hotel... More

If you don't mind basic and rather scruffy accommodation, the Hotel Karraz is great. It's situated in the city centre, minutes from the metro / train station (which has a direct train to / from CDG airport). The surrounding area is stuffed full of restaurants and cafes of every type imaginable and many attractions (Notre Dame, Louvre, Pompidou Centre) are... More

Great Location for the price. Paris is very expensive so if you just want a place to sleep with out the trimmings this is ideal. The owner was very helpful and friendly, you can walk to most attractions from here, and there are restaurants very close by ,the stairs would be hard on those who are unfit and the place... More

Good location, free wifi, nice staff but the room is abit of disappointment for the price. We found a mouse in a room, staff is rarely at the hotel, the stove is not working well. Decoration in the room is look like something that cost 50 euro a night or less. Abit of the improvement would be great.

Staying in Les Halles

Neighborhood Profile
Les Halles
Historically the central iron-clad market of Paris, Les Halles has evolved architecturally since then but the pulsating energy has stayed the same. Now it houses the main shopping mall, which nestles underground surrounded by fast-food take-aways and international restaurants coupled with beautiful churches and the old commodity exchange. Parallel to it are the high-street stores of Rue de Rivoli and just parallel to that the Seine. The area bustles with faces from all continents and all ages at all times of the day. If enjoying high-street shopping with easy access to fast eateries and lively bars is on your agenda, this is the place to go.
