This place is such a find. Beautifully warm and caring hosts in a great location for Sacré Cœur and interesting places in Montmartre. We really enjoyed the stay. Everything you could need in the apartments and helpful suggestions from Hélène and Jean-Louis.

At the Paris Oasis you feel like you have come home to see your Mom. Helene and John take amazing care of you. The room had cold drinks, gratis and on arrival they give you a welcome bottle of wine. They help in everyway with directions and suggestions. We were there over Christmas, when we got back to our room... More

This place is truly a little oasis in the midst of Paris. The owners are lovely and gracious people and very willing to help with anything one would need. Our room "Iris" had pretty much everything we needed. Spotlessly clean and comfortable. A bit on the small side, but the bathroom is a decent size. The neighborhood felt a tiny... More

In October, I stayed here when I arrived in Paris then before I left Paris(my 3rd and 4th stay). I traveled other parts of France for 2 weeks and I could leave my big suit case with them. Welcome drinks are in the refrigerator so you don't need to buy anything right away especially after long flight or long train... More

This was a great find. On an unassuming street at the foot of the Sacre Coeur. No indication from the street that this gem is even there. Helene and her husband could not have been more helpful or kind - Helene welcomed me warmly into her home and acts as a concierge for all your needs. The Iris room was... More

Paris-Oasis is a bit hard to find and a bit hard to get to (i.e., lots of locked doors - so very safe) but well worth it. It's down the street from Sacre Coeur which means Montmartre - lots of restaurants (and tourists and souvenir shops) but on a quiet street. Very close to transportation and easy to get around... Our family of 3 children and 2 adults stayed here in early September. We made our own way from the airport and Helene s written instructions were very clear and we made it there with no problems. The metro station " Barbes" is probably not the best in Paris but if you keep a watchful eye there should be no... More

Greeted by the owners, couldn't do enough for us. Gave us details of the Metro, sightseeing points of interest, where the local supermarket was. The apartment was clean and well provided for and so quiet. You never know what are behind the big doors, this surpassed our expectations and would go back again if only to say hello to the... More

The apartment is lovely and the owners of the home are very nice. More of a B&B than a hotel, you definitely feel as if you're staying in someone's home. The pool is basically in their living room. We didn't use it for this reason. There is no air conditioning and it was hot at night but this is apparently... More

Staying in Montmartre

Neighborhood Profile
Montmartre
Montmartre is a bustling mix of cultures, colors, and styles which changes from one street to another. Ride the funicular (or, for a real workout, climb the steps) to the sublime Sacré-Coeur (Basilica of the Sacred Heart) with its inspiring view of the city. The church is surrounded by provincial streets and piano bars where tourists, artists, and street entertainers thrive. At the foot of the hill, Boulevard de Clichy features shops not intended for young audiences, while residences are scattered to the north and east. The diverse population includes a large part from the Arab-speaking world, Africa, and Turkey. It’s a corner of Paris full of life and dynamism with charms that can’t be found anywhere else.
