I have been very fortunate to find this Gem in Paris. The owners "Helene and Jean Louise" treat you just like one of their friends or a family member. The location is ideal and fantastic. Paris Oasis is in lovely Montmartre and very close to Metro Station. Rooms are cosy, comfortable, super clean and fully furnished. I stayed in ERSI... More

When holidaying I seek two things - an opportunity to experience what it's like to live in the destination for a few days, and doing this with the conveniences that I am used to at my own home. Paris Oasis fulfilled both perfectly well, more than any other property we've ever stayed at before. Helene and Jean-Louis welcome you into... More

Great Place! We stopped over in Paris on our way to Germany and Belgium. The location worked very well for us. It was a quick commuter train ride from CDG to Gare du Nord. It was equally convenient to catch the Thalys train from Paris to Brussels. The metro station is a five minute walk. We like the whole Montmarte... More

Good location - in Montmartre near Sacre Coeur. About 5 - 10 minutes walk to metro. Bakery, supermarket and restaurants nearby. Not the smartest location but felt safe wandering about in the evenings. Stayed in Liette suite - one bedroom apartment. Immaculate condition and well equipped kitchen. Kids enjoyed the swimming pool after a day seeing the sights. Helene was... More

My partner and I stayed here last week for 4 nights and we were really happy with our accommodation in the Nino Studio. The apartment is perfectly equipped (Helene had even left BBC World news on the TV channel for us!), and in a great location, within walking distance of Gare Du Nord if you're travelling on Eurostar, and literally... This lovely place is just perfect....the location is ideal, in a very safe part of Montmartre just steps away from the sacre coeur, with wonderful and kind hosts Helene and her husband, and comfortable rooms with all of the amenities you could wish for, including a small fridge, microwave and coffee machine as well as plates and cutlery - they... The Paris Oasis is just that, an oasis in Paris. Helene and Jean Louis are kind and gracious hosts that see to your every need. I cannot say enough about their helpful actions which included finding a pharmacy that could replace the medication my husband had forgotten at home! My husband and I stayed for 3 nights in the Liet... More

The other reviews say it all. This place is fantastic, but what makes it so good is that from the moment of arrival the hosts make you so welcome it like being at home. They are charming, convivial and so helpful. Nothing is too much trouble and then you realise the real Paris is right outside the front door. Everything... More

My wife and I stayed in the Iris Room, while my two sons and families stayed in the Lucie Loft and the Liette Suite - Helene and John Paul are so attentive and kind, providing each of our apartments with a bottle of wine and complimentary beer, soft drinks, milk and sweets My eldest son had his 40th Birthday while... My boyfriend and I stayed at Paris-Oasis in the Iris Room for 5 nights in July 2014. I was very sad to leave I must say! From the moment we arrived we were greeted with friendly faces (and a lovely bottle of wine), Helene and Jean-Louis are both absolutely lovely and go out of their way to help you with... More

Staying in Montmartre

Neighborhood Profile
Montmartre is a bustling mix of cultures, colors, and styles which changes from one street to another. Ride the funicular (or, for a real workout, climb the steps) to the sublime Sacré-Coeur (Basilica of the Sacred Heart) with its inspiring view of the city. The church is surrounded by provincial streets and piano bars where tourists, artists, and street entertainers thrive. At the foot of the hill, Boulevard de Clichy features shops not intended for young audiences, while residences are scattered to the north and east. The diverse population includes a large part from the Arab-speaking world, Africa, and Turkey. It’s a corner of Paris full of life and dynamism with charms that can’t be found anywhere else.
