Quite simply, the staff at Hotel Le Six were life saviors to my fiancé and I. After an amazing first day and night on our four night stay, we both were hit with a horrendous bout of food poisoning. The staff at Hotel Le Six, and especially Gabriel, went above and beyond to make sure all of our needs were... More

The hotel is very modern and trendy. While small, the lobby is well appointed and nice. The lounge just off the lobby is a great place to grab a drink and meet up with other travelers. The rooms are clean and a bit on the small side, but certainly ample for two. The bathroom is modern and had a great... More

I have been meaning to write a review for Hotel le Six for a while now. Having now signed up to trip advisor, I had to leave a review for it. Myself (and my now husband) got engaged here and we couldn't have spent, what was a magical time at a better Hotel. We stayed in one of the standard... More

Hotel Le Six is a nice hotel located in the 6th area of Paris. Would I classify it as one of the top hotels in Paris, probably not - but it was a nice place to call home for 4 nights. As expected with any hotel in Paris, the rooms are on the small side. However, the bathrooms are not... More

Cute neighborhood. In a quiet area with easy access to the metro station, restaurants, and shops. It's a convenient location near the Luxembourg Gardens, which are very relaxing and beautiful. You can get around all of Paris easily via metro. Not a "party hotel." The customer service was so good it actually made me a little uncomfortable, because it took... More

Only a small hotel in a side street, but what a gem. Its modern boutique style and superbly helpful, friendly staff made it an ideal base for our first sightseeing trip to Paris. Despite not being very central, easy instructions from the staff got us hopping on and off the Metro enabling us to cover the city in no time... More

This was wonderful experience. I have been to Paris many times and this hotel is my new favorite. The location can't be beat, the staff was beyond friendly and welcoming, and you don't have to break the bank to stay there. The rooms were clean and plenty spacious, they even provided a crib for our two year old daughter. They... More

Our first trip to Paris and we researched for months on where to stay. Settled on Hotel Le Six and so glad we did. The location was great close to the subway station. The room was small but very nice. But it was the staff the sent our experience over the top. So friendly , helpful and just plain nice.... More

We had a great expericence at Hotel Le Six. The staff was very patient, knowledgable and eager to help a couple of non-French speaking Americans. I would highly recommend this hotel. The room was comfortable and homey.

My husband and I decided to stay at Le Six because of its proximity to the train station and its location in the 6th Arrondisement. We were not disappointed. The staff was so responsive, pleasant and helpful. When we commented that the line at the Musee D'Orsay was too long to wait in they offered to get us tickets online... More

Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighborhood Profile
Saint-Germain-des-Pres
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighborhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighborhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
