Perfectly acceptable stay but without real charm and nothing to exceed expectations. In addition, the prices are a bit on the steep side given amenities & service. Wouldn't go back. more

We loved hotel particulier, it is situated in a lovely garden secluded from the bustle of Paris, yet metro, restaurants shops are all in close proximity, also this area of Montmartre has a lower volume of tourist traffic. It was a private residence until converted to a hotel but the room proportions were left intact, so they are really spacious... more

So many places claim to be boutique hotels or little gems and they're just nasty.; cheaply done up and with little taste. The Hotel Particulier gets it right. It's absolutely lovely: structurally beautiful, and really stylishly done up inside. We stayed in one of the Superior Junior Suites and it was really romantic; the room was huge, with an open... more

Other than a nice location in a charming neighborhood, this hotel is a huge disappointment. The room I booked was tacky and dingy, with cheap furniture with upholstery that had clearly seen better days, and a musty, stale smell. Housekeeping doused the room with perfume or some sort of unpleasant air freshener the second day (and I hadn't even complained... more

The sumptuous but markedly eclectic decor (handsome antiques blending with a Pop Art Mickey Mouse and funky plastic chairs) made us feel like we were staying in the private home of some well-to-do, convivial Montmarte eccentric. The room--enormous by Paris standards--was an exercise in whimsy, with large windows that opened to a view of the garden below, and a wallpaper... more

Coming from the airport, we were a little surprised when the driver first dropped us at the the gate of what looks like a park. The front door of the hotel is accessible via a cobble stone foot path that cuts through a verdant little patch of Paris; through the trees we got glimpses of the Eiffel Tower and the... more

Well, where to begin?! We've stayed in Paris many, many times, at the grand hotels, smaller gems and private apartments but THIS place will keep us coming back again and again! Is it perfect? Well, perfect in the way Paris is perfect, meaning, if you "get" Paris you'll fall head over heels in love with this hotel. The driver who... more

This hotel is absolutely perfect for a romantic getaway to France. I was taken as a surprise for my anniversary and couldn't have expected anything more from the hotel. We were in the poem and hat room and luckily had enough time available to enjoy the spaciousness of the room. The hotel itself is perfectly positioned feeling as though it... more
