Very quaint and Parisian hotel in great location close to the action but in a quieter neighbourhood. Just stayed one night but were pleased with our overall experience. Stayed in an Inspiration room which was tiny, but pretty standard in Paris. Gorgeous décor and furnishings in the room and throughout the hotel, and bathroom was shiny and classy. They also... More

The hotel's location, between St. Germain des Pres and its many restaurants and shops, and the Musee d'Orsay, is ideal. But what makes this hotel even more desirable is the friendliness of its staff. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by a smiling, pleasant and helpful front desk assistant, hotel manager and concierge. Though small, my room... More

My husband and I stayed here for our 10th anniversary celebration at the beginning of February. I read a lot of reviews before picking this place, and it came down to location, service, and the details of the décor. And we were not disappointed! Even in making the reservations, Anna was very accommodating. She knew I was pregnant and originally... More

Wife and I spent a week in Paris over the new year and stayed at Hotel Da Vinci the entire time. The size of the room is what you expect in the St Germain neighborhood but the quality is better. This small hotel satisfied all of our hopes. The location could not be better. Across the street from the Louvre... More

My husband and I spent four nights at this lovely hotel. We stayed in the Mona Lisa room. Even though it is on the first floor, it was quiet. We could hear the door to the spa, which is next door, open and close, but that wasn't an issue at night time. The room was very nice and the shower... More

Lovely staff, coffee, pastries. Staff assisted with planning, tours, car to the airport, and dinner. The bed was the best, although room was small, but that is Europe! Walk to the Louvre, the Musee D'Orsay, Tuilleries Garden. The area is safe and full of fancy shopping.

Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighborhood Profile
Saint-Germain-des-Pres
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighborhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighborhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
