We had booked at Hipotel Paris Bordeaux but when we got there, the guy of the reception sent us to this one because he had no rooms but he sent us walking about ten block with our heavy backpacks and never offered us a cab. When we arrived at the Belleville, the guys from the reception were smoking and asked... More

Hi all, I stayed for 3 nights with my friend in February. The reason I chose Hipotel was mainly the low price and the good location... To be honest, the hotel is horrible in terms of the maintanance. It's not dirty - it is tired and neglected. However, the staff are brilliant and you get a clean semi-comfortae bed to... More

Seriously, I already lived in many hotels. But it was nicer to stay in Thailand in the jungle with 100 insects instead of this "hotel". When we arrived the staff were really friendly - at first. It seemed that they speak good english and gave us a really nice welcoming. Our room was on the first floor, which was ok,... More

The bathroom was extremely dirty. The shower was out of order. Internet is not working (you have to pay extra for it) . Horrible!! They did not clean the rooms. There is no elevator. Avoid that hotel.

This place was definitely an experience. One good aspect is that the receptionists were quite helpful. The hotel is a confusing maze of rooms spread across two separate buildings, with showers and toilets located randomly throughout, often without signage. I didn't enjoy showering in a tiny cubicle which barely accommodated me, let alone my clothes, which I left in a... More

Staff were extremely unpleasant to deal with, charging us an extra 4 euro which was not included in the set price, and gave us a room that constantly stank of faeces. The windows had to be kept open all night long due to the unbearable smell, and the bed had to be completely stripped, as there were clumps of hair... More

Myself, my partner and 2 friends stayed here for 2 nights (Thursday to Saturday), after taking several different metro lines we eventually found the hotel. We arrived into reception to be completely ignored by an elderly man, he turned his back to us and continued working on his laptop after about 10minutes he attempted to check us in and refused... Bait and switch. Advertise twin room with two singles but no such thing, instead just a king single bed. Has one long thin pillow. It was clean but very old building. Six flights of stairs and the staff didn't care about anything, would continue to watch TV while serving you. Homeless guy lives in front of the building in a... More

This is not a hotel but a disgusting place. Reception worker says only "vualla". You pay extra for wi fi but you'll never find it enabled. Bed was on tires and there was a bad toilet smell everywhere. After arguing 15 minutes they give us another room which was like 7sq.m.

At check-in I was met with the most argumentative, rude man who would not accept that I'd paid my deposit to hold the booking, even though I had the confirmation email in front of me. 20 minutes later I was given a room (number 59) when I entered I was astonished that this level of accommodation is still being sold....
