We stayed one night in May. Location - Chosen because of the proximity to Montparnasse station, which is about 10/15 mins walk away, and the favorable reviews on Tripadvisor. The hotel is on a busy main street but once inside the noise levels are minimal. The lift is tiny, just about room for two, non claustrophobic, guests otherwise access to... More

Our family of 6 booked 2 junior suites and found them to be clean, spacious (by Paris standard), and of good value. Each suite had 1 full size bed on one side of the room and 1 twin size bed on the opposite end. In addition to the regular bathroom with a shower, a sink (vanity area), and a toilet,... More

Our first word on seeing our hotel in Paris was "quaint"! That is not meant as a negative. While our room was small by North American standards, and we are sure it has the world's smallest elevator, we totally recommend staying here when you visit Paris. The location is wonderful! We did lots of walking and made excellent use of... More

Boutique type hotel. Has a warm and inviting atmosphere with lots of memorabilia dotted around the reception and breakfast area - historic prints, books, tapestries, etc. Friendly and helpful staff. The room was typical of Paris hotels, small but very clean. Our room had no fridge but there may be other more expensive rooms with a fridge. Crisp white bed... More

This hotel is nice, affordable and located in a good area. Is it huge and luxurious no - but it doesn't claim to be either! The main floor/lobby area is cozily decorated and the reception staff was always very nice and helpful. Before our stay we had emailed and requested help with making some dinner reservations and they very happily... More

We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights, the location is very close to Le Ban Marche store and the Chapelle Notre-Dame de la Médaille Miraculeuse which are both worth visiting for different reasons. The hotel and room was very clean, and the bed very comfortable. we had a room 11 on the first floor facing the street but it... More

This hotel is perfect for people who want a simple, clean boutique hotel in a good location in Paris. Located in the Montparnasse section, it is within blocks of several metro stops, as well as around 15-20 minutes walking distance over to major Paris attractions, including the Latin Quarter, the Tuilleries, the Louve, and various impressionist museums. The staff was... More

I was only in town for 1 night, so a very short stay, however this really is a lovely hotel. The location is great, just a few minutes walk from the Metro, and the staff are friendly and welcoming. Rooms are, as you would expect in Paris, compact however the space is used very efficiently and the bed is comfortable.... More

We spent the night as a stopover to Geneva. The front desk made checking in and gave recommendations on restaurants. The room was very clean. The hotel is close to the metro and we were able to get to the tourist attractions and our connecting train the next morning easily. I would definitely stay there again.

I stayed here with my 11 year old niece and the hotel suited us perfectly. The location was perfect with lots of restaurants within walking distance. The Metro was on the doorstep which made it quick and easy to visit the major sights. Our room was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean, even though we were at the front of the... More

Staying in Montparnasse

Neighborhood Profile
Montparnasse
The namesake tower of Montparnasse dominates over the landscape but the fun part is the throbbing life that goes on below it. Bright lights, busy cinemas, brasseries and diners encompass hidden museums and parks to entertain the masses. Long avenues lead away from the tower to take you to unsuspecting places and historical monuments and treasures. In between lie adorable ivy-covered houses with beams and small gardens to match. Just a short metro ride away from the center of Paris this neighborhood has something for every hour of the day.
