We only had 48 hours in Paris before flying back to Australia, so we chose the Mercure more for convenience than anything else. The close proximity of the Gare Du Nord train station meant there were no hassles getting to the airport - walk across the road, on to the train and 30 minutes later, you're there! Another big plus... More

I booked the Mercure for the proximity to the Gare Du Norde as I wanted my escape back to London to be a smooth transition. On arrival the hotel staff were very welcoming and though check in was stated as 2pm on my booking, they checked me in much earlier and within minutes I had a great room on the... More

The location gets it. It is just so convenient and great for getting around. It has the advantage also of offering single rooms at a quite reasonable rate if you book well ahead. It is basic, but adequately equipped. My room had air-conditioning that worked, a bottle of water every day (welcome in August), OK Wifi if a little hesitant... More

Have chosen the Terminus Nord because of its proximity to Gare Du Nord (it's just across the street!) and its classy exterior. The location really helps especially if you are arriving or leaving Paris on the high speed train. It is also within walking distance to Montmartre. I stayed on the top floor and the room was really spacious. From... More

The location of the hotel (opposite to Gare du Nord) is only the positive thing about the hotel. Few things that we did not like during our stay: - Corridor to room is like a maze, without the indicators, we would never get our room by our own - The facilities are old and shabby. Water clogged in our bathroom... More

As it's the third time I've used this hotel, I thought it was about time I left a review! If you're using Eurostar to get to Paris, this is a really good option - just 50yds from the exit of the Gare du Nord. It's clean, comfortable and good value for the location. True, there are better hotels in Paris,... More

This is the first time I've stayed in this part of Paris but I needed a hotel with easy access to train travel and this certainly fit the bill -- literally across the street from the Gare du Nord. In spite of the busy location, the hotel was perfectly calm and very cozy. Had a room on the top floor... More

Great location, it is just in front of the railway station. Very friendly receptionist, who spoke a very good English. Got my room at 7:30 am, which is fantastic after a 13 hours flight. Small room, but very quiet and very clean. Room came with an air-con, which was wonderful, because the outside temperature in Paris was almost 35'C. Few... More

Whilst well situated, jus across from the Gare du Nord and useful for early morning / late night strains, this old hotel is convenient. Reception staff are as curt as one would expect Parisian staff to be, the hotel is comfortable, though some very serious maintenance is urgently needed. Breakfast at 34 Euros (!!) for a buffet needs no further... More
