We've spend only one night in this hotel, placed in a very quiet area. It is 5 minutes away from the metro station Reuilly-Diderot and 10 minutes away from the RER station Nation. Like we were used to it in Paris the rooms are small, but clean and cosy. The staff was very kind and helpful, english speaker. The breakfast... More

We loved our stay in this hotel. The hotel was in a great location, very close to metro station with good connection to all city attraction. We walked for the most of our trip, because we love to explore the cities that way, and this hotel was perfect starting point. The hotel is situated in very nice neighborhood, we felt... More

Relatively inexpensive, safe, well-located (for our purposes), clean. Wifi couldn't connect despite repeated attempts over our 4 nights here. Busy street with street noises (closed windows were quite effective) but also people talking loudly (aka shouting) on the street and neighbours playing stereos .in apartments. Temperature regulation was limited. Bathroom extremely small. Helpful staff spoke reasonable English which trumped by... More

Location is great with Gare de Lyon and Bastille in close walking distance. Metro lines 8 and 1 are both only 5min away providing fast connection to the city center. I like the quarter a lot, it is a place for "normal" people, therefore you have a great mix of supermarkets, bars, restaurants and small shops around. Rooms are small,... More

The only thing was the location close to the Gare de Lyon. We were in room 10 . The room was in a terrible maintenance conditions. There was no items that need attention from the floor the tv , painting, the bathroom. The otel looks nice and trendy but it is not worth the money that they request.

A very, very basic hotel. Friendly staff but the room not very clean (still some hairs on the bed and in the bathroom). We were unfortunate with the heat and couldn't close an eye. Only stayed for one night fortunately. Close to the metro and a nice little neighborhood.

A very friendly and helpful welcome when checking in at this VERY simple but clean hotel changed next morning when a rude young David answered my plea for help with the noisy room, that he had more important things to do... My question about the non-functioning wifi was answered in the same manner that I was the only one complaining.... More

Dear Mrs B, Thanks for your gentle comment about our welcome and the cleanliness. I remember you wished to change room because of the noise from the neighborhood in the backyard. But, as I’ve explained to you, we were fully booked and there was no solution in upgrading with a room on the (quiet) street. Due to your dissatisfaction, we... More

Very friendly, helpful staff, good English. Nice breakfast which is convenient but nothing special and €8 per person. The elevator is good as we were 5th floor! Room was clean, basic and comfortable, maid service all week except Sunday. Had help from staff booking restaurants/taxi etc. great base for sightseeing, three metro and Gare Du Lyon all with 10 minute... More

nice hotel, in a good area and close to Metro to get you around easily. Friendly welcome and room was larger than some other 'converted house" hotels I've stayed in before in Paris. Id recommend a stroll to the local cafes just on the corner - turn and look right as you come out of the hotel.

A good place to stay for a night or two, very cheap, friendly helpful staff. Rooms very clean, although a bit shabby. Nice to see that a lift has been installed. We stayed for one night but the staff let us leave our cases in the foyer on the second day and also let us leave our car in the... More
