This little hotel (19 rooms) was such a great find. Firstly it is in a great area, not too touristy - lots of local cafes around - but just a short walk to the Pompidou Centre or Notre Dame. In fact we ended up walking all around Paris - even ended up at the Eiffel Tower in just 45 minutes.... More

We stayed here May 29 - June 5, 2015. I apologize for my tardiness in writing this review. It's only now that I'm getting over my Post Paris Depression! This was our second time to France (and Paris). The first time in Paris we rented a terrific apartment on rue Montorgeuil via Airbnb as we wanted to "live like locals".... More

At first when the cab rolls in and out of alley-ways that are wet from the morning cleaning crew spray, past the construction zones and peep show signage you begin to wonder what did I get myself into this time. The cab stops at an impeccable street corner amidst all of the chaos and there is Le Relais des Halles.... More

This Hotel is an overall great experience in a cozy and homelike setting in the pedestrian center of Paris. With its great location, attentive staff (Vincent at the lobby is just superb) and quiet rooms it surely is one of the best choices to stay in Paris as a tourist. The metro stations are very closeby and they can take... More

My husband and I stayed here during our visit to Paris in September 2014, and had such a great experience. The hotel is very centrally located and very, very close to the underground/metro line which made getting around the city that much easier. The hotel is also close to many great delis and restaurants and the area really comes alive... More

Vincent is as helpful as all the reviews suggest - really makes the difference in making this a great hotel. Great location - rooms are not big but very well decorated and breakfast is very well done.

My wife & I stayed there for 3 nights last week (early July '15), and could not have been more pleased with our decision to stay there. Going to Paris for the first time in over 20 years, I struggled to decide which neighborhood to stay in and in turn which hotel. First on the neighborhood, the Marais was 100%... More

Very nice little hotel in a great location near Chatelet Les Halles. Very friendly service, and the rooms are tastefully decorated. There's even a waterfall shower. I will definitely stay there again and recommend it to friends.

A great little hotel in the heart of Paris. Friendly, great air-con (it was very hot), good wifi. Would definitely stay again. My only slight complaint is the chemical that they use to wash the carpet in your room is terribly strong smelling and had to open the windows for a few hours to get rid of the smell. But... More

Staying in Les Halles

Neighborhood Profile
Les Halles
Historically the central iron-clad market of Paris, Les Halles has evolved architecturally since then but the pulsating energy has stayed the same. Now it houses the main shopping mall, which nestles underground surrounded by fast-food take-aways and international restaurants coupled with beautiful churches and the old commodity exchange. Parallel to it are the high-street stores of Rue de Rivoli and just parallel to that the Seine. The area bustles with faces from all continents and all ages at all times of the day. If enjoying high-street shopping with easy access to fast eateries and lively bars is on your agenda, this is the place to go.
