This hotel is just in the right spot. Close to everything, but quiet. Beautifully appointed and tastefully decorated, the rooms have more space than most in such a great central position. Plenty of bathroom space, which is an issue in some hotel rooms.. Great breakfast, and loads of eating out options close by.

This is a comfortable, pleasant little hotel in a great geographic location (although not an up-scale neighborhood). The desk staff were all friendly and helpful with worthwhile nearby restaurant suggestions and other information. Vincent was outstanding. Our room was big enough for two with an excellent bathroom. The breakfast buffet had excellent food choices and friendly service. Our only problem... More

As the review title suggests, it comes down to the people and for us it was Vincent, who was above and beyond in the helpful department. He took 20 minutes upon our checkin to give us a comprehensive tutorial in Parisian history, geography and anthropology that was totally pertinent to our interests. The hotel itself is a beautiful little boutique... More

We stayed at this lovely hotel for 4 nights recently. The hotel is very clean, modern, quiet, good location and most of all, an excellent staff. The breakfast (optional) was very good and full of variety. We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel.

small hotel but extremely cozy, clean and friendly. Rooms don't feel small, and are very neat, bathrooms modern. B'fast friendly and tasty. Very easy to metro station (half a block away). Well situated, lots of restaurants nearby. Walkable to Louvre.

Thank you Tripadvisors for pointing us in the direction of this little gem. We've long struggled to find a reliable stop-off in Paris, and henceforth this will do nicely. From the fantastic welcome provided by the hugely well-informed Vincent, to the small but very well-designed bedroom and en-suite, we knew we were in good hands. Handily placed for us Eurostar... The Hotel Le Relais Des Halles was a perfect spot just on the north bank of the Seine to make everything within walking distance. The hotel was clean and very comfortable and the staff working there were friendly and very helpful. We would certainly go back again - we thought Paris was an amazing city.

I would really recommed this hotel for couples for visiting romantic Paris. Although rooms are bit small, they are really nicely decorated and you have all you need (specially in the bathroom). Location is perfect and breakfast really worth of taking as an extra. Would definitively stay in this hotel when next in Paris...

Good location, within walking distance of the metro and the train to the airport. Near the Pompidou Center, and and many restaurants and shopping venues Sophisticated equipment and decoration. Very friendly and reliable service that makes you feel among friends. Strongly recommended. One of my family members had a health problem and was efficiently and kindly helped.

Last time we discovered it, this trip confirmed it....we love this small but perfectly formed unassuming hotel, that is,to us, almost perfect. If you want huge , 24 hour food, and "all the usual" BIG hotel stuff that is the "same" all over ,then it might not be for you. However if you want relaxing calm and plonked beside great... More

Staying in Les Halles

Neighborhood Profile
Les Halles
Historically the central iron-clad market of Paris, Les Halles has evolved architecturally since then but the pulsating energy has stayed the same. Now it houses the main shopping mall, which nestles underground surrounded by fast-food take-aways and international restaurants coupled with beautiful churches and the old commodity exchange. Parallel to it are the high-street stores of Rue de Rivoli and just parallel to that the Seine. The area bustles with faces from all continents and all ages at all times of the day. If enjoying high-street shopping with easy access to fast eateries and lively bars is on your agenda, this is the place to go.
