We stayed here for 2 nights on a recent trip to Paris - we booked 3 rooms, 2 were comfort and 1 was classic - all were excellent. The only difference with the classic room was that it had a smaller bathroom but it was still of ample size! During check-in Vincent (as many people have already mentioned) was very... More

We're just back from a 4-night stay at this excellent hotel. It's very small but perfectly formed; we were in room 100 which seemed to be the only room on the ground floor. It was charming, reasonably priced for Paris and very well located. The soundproofing was amazing, and we slept extremely well. The hotel is bright and airy, with... More

My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights over the Valentines weekend. Well positioned in the 1st Arrondissement, close to the large station of Les Halles and only metres away from the Metro station of Etienne Marcel, these stations will give you access to anywhere in Paris and Les Halles is on the RER line from Charles De Gaulle.... My only problem was there weren' t any gluten free... More

This was a delightful small hotel, such comfortable beds, newly renovated, lovely bathrooms, in a quiet street near to three metros. It was five stops from Gare du Nord. We were given recommendations on restaurants and anything else we required was immediately done. The staff were very pleasant and we were even offered iPads for the hotel room. We borrowed... More

Charming small hotel - staff so pleasant and helpful both pre visit online and during our stay. Rooms not large but nicely decorated and very comfortable. Excellent soundproofing. Hotel is a hundred yards from forum des halles metro/rer hub, and ten minutes walk takes you to le Marais in one direction, Norte dame and in another and St German just... More

This was the first hotel my wife and I stayed for our honeymoon and we were so pleasantly surprised by the service and help rendered to us by Vincent. He advised us on the various sites to visit not just within the vicinity but in Paris as well. It really did make our first day in a foreign country feel... More

This was our first trip to Paris and I booked this hotel based on the reviews and it was a good choice. The location was in easy walking distance to Notre Dame and Louvre. Our room was on the smaller side but excellent linens with a very nice bathroom with shower and tub. Breakfast was standard but good with many... More

Location is awesome. The staff was awesome. Breakfast awesome. . Wifi was weak but with all the awesomes it was easy to overlook this. The staff gave us a very good detailed list of what to see, where to eat and so much more. Just plain awesome the whole experience. 👍

Le Relais des halles offers a good location in the center of Chatelais les Halles, walking distnace to metro station and RER. The hotel is very quiet and our room (Comfort) was very comfortable, spacious shower and good bed. It was smelling a little old tobaco, this is the only small minus we found. The breakfast was small but made... More

Staying in Les Halles

Neighborhood Profile
Les Halles
Historically the central iron-clad market of Paris, Les Halles has evolved architecturally since then but the pulsating energy has stayed the same. Now it houses the main shopping mall, which nestles underground surrounded by fast-food take-aways and international restaurants coupled with beautiful churches and the old commodity exchange. Parallel to it are the high-street stores of Rue de Rivoli and just parallel to that the Seine. The area bustles with faces from all continents and all ages at all times of the day. If enjoying high-street shopping with easy access to fast eateries and lively bars is on your agenda, this is the place to go.
