I choose the hotel looking for a simple stay for a night in a centric area-which was fullfilled. As generally most if the hotels ( I have been in Paris) are not worth their price- for what the offer this falls in average. Best is very friendly&helpful personal at reception. Good functionning heating despite the cold outside.Wifi worked surprisingly in... More

We arrived on New Years day and would stay for 2 nights. Our room was dirty, there were stains in the blankets, visible moisture stains on different parts of the ceiling and a horrible smell was emerging from the bathroom. Luckily the hotel is situated near Les Halles, so we stayed out and about and didn't need to return to... More

Hotels in Europe are overpriced. This is horrible place with dirty blankets, beds are uncomfortable up to the level you will feel like you slept on the nails.Too much expensive for horrible service. You should see the shower tube.OMG.Good point is location(Louvre Museum, close to metro) and stuff was kind. But what do I have from stuff if I will be tortured by discomfort of... Very inexpensive 1 star hotel with an excellent location, a block away from the Louvre. No elevator. All rooms have tiny private bathrooms. Charming staff. Could be very noisy since walls are paper thin. No air conditioning, so I would not recommend it for the hot Paris summer.

Very centrally located but a bit small - the shower was extremely tiny, I don't think a man could fit in it!! But good service, friendly staff and you are in the centre of Paris! What more could you want! For people who don't like noise, not recommended! I was able to sleep through a Saturday night!

This is a terrible hotel, the rooms are in a such bad condition that it is screaming in your face at the very instant you step in to the room. The showers are so small that for a big person like me it was completely unrealistic to turn in the shower. The room below the hotel is very lowed due... More

Our flight had been cancelled during the Easter break due to a strike and our hotel we had been staying at in Disneyland was completely booked out so we decided to spend a night in Paris while we had the chance. We booked this hotel as it was the cheapest and was close to the Louvre. Don't expect much from... More

Dingy, tiny, narrow, with paper thin walls. We could hear people's passing gas, any noise in the next room. Location not bad but not great either. Read the reviews an avoid it. Or you will regret it. We did.

I stayed at the Hotel du Pont Neuf because I was desperate as I couldn't get into my preferred hotel for one night on my way through Paris. If you are looking for a cheap hotel that is very convenient to Chatelet Les Halles and a connection to Charles De Gaulle airport, then this fits the bill. But don't expect... More

The location of this hotel is absolutely fantastic, so close to everything! The facilities and standard of the rooms is what you would expect for the cheap price but overall it is a good place to stay! Would be improved by air con in the rooms and unfortunately there is no lift which can be a pain walking up the... More

Staying in Les Halles

Neighborhood Profile
Les Halles
Historically the central iron-clad market of Paris, Les Halles has evolved architecturally since then but the pulsating energy has stayed the same. Now it houses the main shopping mall, which nestles underground surrounded by fast-food take-aways and international restaurants coupled with beautiful churches and the old commodity exchange. Parallel to it are the high-street stores of Rue de Rivoli and just parallel to that the Seine. The area bustles with faces from all continents and all ages at all times of the day. If enjoying high-street shopping with easy access to fast eateries and lively bars is on your agenda, this is the place to go.
