We stayed at this hotel for three nights this July. We only chose this hotel only for its low rates and proximity to Gare de Lyon - one entrance to the metro stop is right outside the hotel. That is the only advantage. Everything mentioned in the other reviews about lift and narrow corridors is very accurate. Our room was... More

some people are rating as a great hotel for great prices... Don't want to sound snobby but it was terrible place to stay... Unfortunately I missed a train to Barcelona so I had no choise and didn't check any hotels around. Receptionist put me in to the single room, never ever seen such a small room before (talking about hotels).... More

We've stayed here a few times now. The lift is very small, one person and their luggage only, type of lift, but it works. The lift has a strange quirk....it stops between floors....which means that you come out and the very narrow landing means you have to either go up a few steps to the next floor, or go down... More

Everything cited in other reviews is accurate. We chose this for an overnight because of its nearness to the train station. The bed was comfy and the bathroom is large, but the hallways are ridiculously small as is the elevator. The staff was not as friendly or as knowledgable or helpful as other places I have stayed in France.

The hotel was close to the station. The room was basic but clean and comfortable. The little Juliet balcony in the room was an added bonus! Staff were friendly and helpful and recommended places for us to go when asked. It was a nice bonus that we could keep our luggage at the hotel after check-out, until traveling on later... More

We spent 2 nights here before travelling to Geneva. Like most of the review had said, the rooms n alleys are small, but overall it's clean enough. The lift so small that could prolly fit a person with 2 suitcase at a time. Since we spent most our time exploring the city, and catching an early train on third day.... More

Not sure how to rate this hotel as the price was pretty good for a major city, (although I did book a fair few months in advance) and the location was great for Gare de Lyon and all other transport links, Bus, Metro, RER etc We had to change rooms on arrival as our room door required a hefty shoulder... Well located hotel, friendly staff, perfect for a couple of days in Paris, ideal if you have need to take a train from Gare de Lyon. Metro outside the door, clean, comfortable, not flashy but great. Thanks

As everyone else has mentioned, very convenient to Gare de Lyon. The room I had was just large enough to get a suitcase either side of the bed, but I wouldn't recommend for more than 1 person. My laptop power cord was just long enough to reach from the desk to the one accessible power socket. But for one night,... More

First of all it's next to Gare de Lyon. Almost as close as the Novotel. So close it's practically within the orbit of the train station. Metro entrance is right outside of the hotel. So are two supermarkets (Carrefour and Franprix). And plenty of restaurants (l'Europèen is good) Price is reasonable. Room size is standard for Paris. Maybe a little... More
