Even though we (a family of three with a toddler) discovered this hotel on a rainy evening by word of mouth upon, arrival to Denfert-Rochereau train station, after multiple extensions we ended up staying here for two weeks. The rooms are small, but quaint, especially if you can reserve one facing the courtyard. Minimal services - for us that was... More

Stayed here for 3 nights and was happy. It is in a great location for public transportation. It is an inexpensive hotel so don't expect luxury just a place to sleep after sightseeing. The staff was helpful and patient with my poor French. If you are traveling alone the staff makes sure that your stay is a safe one. Yes... More

You get what you pay for. It's perfectly located (easy access from both airports), it's inexpensive, a small but sufficient breakfast is included. Small rooms, small bathrooms, one-persone elevator, no soap in the bathrooms, etc. If you are on a budget and won't stay long in your room, it's a good place for Paris. Nice staff.

One of my worst hotel experience . I am a Hotel Director back in home, they don't have even the basic service for a hotel. They have an ancient elevator, which they turn it off after 00.30am , something unacceptable and they leave my 78 years old grandmother to go from stairs at 6 floor. also when we arrived they... Its biggest asset is that it's clean and cheap. Small rooms with dreadful wallpaper, but a clean bathroom, even though it's so small you can barely turn around inside. But breakfast is included in the price and the service is good and the staff helpful. Also a good location, especially for going to/coming from Paris airports.

I have stayed at this hotel 4 times: with a group of friends, by myself and twice with my young daughter. It has some great advantages. First and foremost, its location... one of my favorite neighborhoods with many restaurants and food shops, it is also next to the RER where one has a direct line to the airport and Gare... More

Don't go expecting anything more than the one star it posesses, but that said we found the hotel quite "charming"..... It is situated in a great place for exploring Paris, a metro station just about on the doorstep. Our room was on the 6th floor - we didn't try the lift, which apparently held only one person at a time... More

every other hotel in the area was fully booked, so i selected this one that had one single room for 2 nights. the room was ok, but the smell of the carpert and blankets was very unpleasant and this way everything seemed dirty. no hairdryer in the bathroom and not enough light. the people at the reception want to be... Staying in Montparnasse

Neighborhood Profile
Montparnasse
The namesake tower of Montparnasse dominates over the landscape but the fun part is the throbbing life that goes on below it. Bright lights, busy cinemas, brasseries and diners encompass hidden museums and parks to entertain the masses. Long avenues lead away from the tower to take you to unsuspecting places and historical monuments and treasures. In between lie adorable ivy-covered houses with beams and small gardens to match. Just a short metro ride away from the center of Paris this neighborhood has something for every hour of the day.
