I always wanted to check out this lovely hotel with is superb flowery façade .... It is located in one of my favorite street in Paris, Rue du Pré-aux-Clercs.... Thanks to an opportunity, it became a reality and I was as delighted as expected;-) Every detail of the decoration of this building on the site of an ancient chapel has... More

We had a great stay at Saint Vincent. The location of the hotel was perfect - we were able to walk to various cafes, restaurants, bars, shops and sites. The rooms were clean and spacious. The only down fall was the construction next door that woke us up early and their credit card machine did not work at check out... More

The Hotel is located in a great central position for restaurants, bars and shopping. Room and bathroom were of a good size compared to a lot of Paris Hotels and the staff could not have been more helpful.

My husband and I arrived at the Hotel Saint Vincent the latter part of September 2015. Our stay was wonderful, a true Parisian Hotel experience. The room was quaint and cozy with a large bathroom area. The customer service was exceptional from Thierry and Alexis at the front desk to our waiter at breakfast. Location is ideal, on a very... A small 22 room hotel in a convenient Left Bank neighborhood. Decent Continental Breakfast. Fairly small rooms even by Paris standards but on a very quiet street. The bathrooms are fairly modern and done in brown and beige marble. Narrow but deep tub with small hand-held shower. Excellent heated towel racks. Closet is fairly cramped for clothes storage if you... More

Hotel St. Vincent was recommended to us by a friend so we booked months in advance. Three weeks before our trip they informed us that they would be closed for renovations but had secured a comperable hotel nearby. We did not like the hotel we had been moved to. It was far away and small.

A boutique hotel, just a few rooms, great location within walking distance to the d'Orsay, Louvre, l' Orangerie, museums, Notre Dame, Luxembourg gardens etc. There is construction going on at the next door hotel as the owners are combining properties to add features. Since we were out during the day, the noise was not an issue for us. The staff... More

We stayed two nights in the 3rd floor. We had both times a very romantic room with a little balcony. Bathrooms are very spacious. The concierge is very professional. Stuff very helpful, and the breakfast was good. Even though breakfast room could be improved. There is some refurbishing going on next door, but noise level was bearable.

Hotel St Vincent is a lovely, small hotel with nice, clean rooms and modern bathrooms. It is on a very quiet street and a very short walk to the heart of St. Germain de Pres, the Musee d'Orsay. We could also walk to the Marais, Notre Dame and the Latin Quarter. We were there during the heat wave in July... More

Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighborhood Profile
Saint-Germain-des-Pres
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighborhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighborhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
