I just loved this place. The check in was easy and Allen at the front desk was super friendly and helpful. The room, while small, was well appointed and really made the most of the space. The shower was hot and pressure was good. We asked for a room off the street, overlooking the courtyard, it is was so quiet... More

We looked forward to our return to this interesting part of Paris, and our first visit to this charming hotel. Our pre visit communication was faultless, and our welcome friendly and welcoming. The front desk guys were so helpful when we had computer glitches, and they gave fantastic recommendations for dinner. We especially enjoyed our experiences at Mustache and Le... More

Just perfect. This was our second visit, and we'll be back. A real gem of a place; the staff are incredibly helpful and welcoming; the rooms are petite and perfectly formed; and the location is super central for exploring the city. Bravo !

I returned to the hotel last week for the second year in a row and loved it just as much as the first time. The room, staff, and location are divine! While the room is small, I found it comfortable and charming and was so happy to be in it. I cannot wait to return next year-please save the same... More

The locality, staff and presentation of the room was very good, but the room was the second smallest I have every stayed in. So small it was uncomfortable to move in the room and use the facilities. When combined with the price which is well above market for a standard room, I was disappointed.

This is a small hotel in a favourite neighbourhood to stay - on Metro Vavin and the junction of Raspail and Montparnass. It is situated on a quite side street, yards away from excellent restaurants and cafes. Our room was on the third floor overlooking the back yard and was very quite. Although small in the traditional Parisian way, there... More

We recently spent a week at this hotel while holidaying in Paris. As with many other reviewers we found the location to be particularly attractive. We also found the staff to be friendly and obliging with sufficient English to make up for the (rather large) gaps in our French. We had no problems with the wifi. Our only quibble was... More

We stayed here for 8 nights and were apprehensive about staying in a boutique hotel, and we were pleasantly surprised. If you're looking for a chain hotel experience then this isn't the place. But if you want a Paris boutique hotel stay, then this is a great choice. As others have said, the rooms are small. I would suggest paying... More

Great location, beautifully designed boutique hotel, with attentive and efficient service. Rooms are spacious enough for Paris standards, clean and very comfortable. Good beds, good airco, decent bathroom but the shower's temperature was not consitent. Wifi was slow and at times very slow. A few minor improvements would bring it to ***** perfection. Would come back.

This is a small boutique hotel in Arr 6. The rooms are small but enough amenities, a large soaking tub for instance and bath salts. The famous Jardin du Luxembourg (Luxembourg Gardens) is four blocks away and well worth the stroll. Too many restaurants to count. But right across the street is Leo Dupont bistro and wine bar which was... More

Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighborhood Profile
Saint-Germain-des-Pres
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighborhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighborhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
