Well on arriving at the hotel we were upgraded to a suite, which was very nice. I can't fault the rooms and the location, particularly the little cafe on the corner nearby which did amazing lunch, traditional French things. But.........on returning from dinner at 12pm we found a party going on in the block of flats next door to the... More

Why isn't this hotel rated higher on TripAdvsior? Myself and my partner work in the leisure industry, we spend on average twenty days of the month staying in different hotels across the world. It's not often we get excited when we first walk into a hotel room! We had a deluxe room (rooms are named and ours was called Hugo,)... More

Fantastic hotel in a get location, close to the louvre. The rooms exceeded our expectations. Not sure if we were upgraded but the room was really big for Europe, double sinks in the bathroom etc. Everything is really modern, fresh and clean. The staff couldn't do enough for us, were really friendly and helpful. We went to Moulin Rouge which... More

Stayed there in Feb of 07 - the hotel had just opened (or so it seemed). There weren't even numbers on the doors or a sign in the front. We were there for a quick weekend getaway, and very much enjoyed the privacy and quiet that the hotel provided - it seemed we were the only ones there...which was at... More

After a good search on the Internet we quickly realized that good hotel rooms in Paris are both rare and relatively expensive. The occasion was our 25th Wedding Anniversary and I wanted to make the most of our two nights in Paris. We took EuroStar to Paris Gard Du Nord followed by a 10 minute taxi ride to the Hotel.... Great Right Bank location ... five minute walk from the Louvre and the Seine, surrounded by great restaurants. Five mintues away from the Metro. Modern Luxury with comfortable beds and a helpful service. Knowing French was not necessary. The hotel was very clean. I would recommend this hotel to anyone!! Worth every penny! The breakfast was great, too. Rooms included... More

Stayed here for two nights in August- the hotel is in an excellent location about a five minute walk from the Louvre and 20 from the Pompidou centre. The hotel itself offers a very comfortable stay in a modern and new hotel. The rooms are large and showers, beds etc are very good. The staff are extrmeley friendly and helpful. Recommend... More

Staying in Les Halles

Neighborhood Profile
Les Halles
Historically the central iron-clad market of Paris, Les Halles has evolved architecturally since then but the pulsating energy has stayed the same. Now it houses the main shopping mall, which nestles underground surrounded by fast-food take-aways and international restaurants coupled with beautiful churches and the old commodity exchange. Parallel to it are the high-street stores of Rue de Rivoli and just parallel to that the Seine. The area bustles with faces from all continents and all ages at all times of the day. If enjoying high-street shopping with easy access to fast eateries and lively bars is on your agenda, this is the place to go.
