I'm late writing this review, but my hotel badge is on the line. : ) Last summer my family and I flew into Paris. Everyone was exhausted from the flight, especially my 6 year old and 8 year old daughters. The hotel staff members were all extremely friendly and spoke English very well. Even though our room was not ready,... More

Besides the top location of the hotel, we enjoyed a beautiful and SPACIOUS room ( on the top floor with terrasse!) . The staff is very friendly and the ambiance was really good. We have already tried several smaller hotels in Paris and this one really stands out.

Excellent location and very well appointed. Would have been nice to have had a hairdryer in the room but the nespresso machine kind of made up for that! Lovely to have a duvet on the bed, made for a great night's sleep.

It's a good hotel, the bed was very comfortable. If you're traveling in Paris for leisure, it's safe to say you'll enjoy it. The staff was friendly, which isn't obvious in Paris! 3 cons I found: 1. not suitable for business - there is no desk in the room (superior) 2. The room size can change significantly even if its... This is the second time we stayed at this hotel and unfortunately the last. We requested a quiet room (courtyard), which we got, but our neighbors had a full balcony/deck and they enjoyed smoking outside. Because the a/c didn't work, we opened the window - would be great if we were exhibitionists & enjoyed smoke. When we asked for a... More

Hotel is small with large size rooms and extremely quiet. The location is absolutely fantastic for a walking trip to Paris. Louvre, Notre Dame, Eiffel Tower, Champs Elysee, Opera, Marais and St. Germain are within less than 30 mins walk from the front door. The room we had was fitted with 2 twin beds, large bathroom, AC/Heat, windows that opened... More

Myself, wife and college student daughter stayed recently. Location cannot be beat 1/2 block from Louvre-Rivoli metro station. Staff, especially young lady at desk during the day, was most knowledgeable and helpful. Nice breakfast inclusive and most appreciated. Clean comfortable room and housekeeping excellent. Boutique hotel with quirky layout but that only added to the charm. If we ever go... More

Staying in Les Halles

Neighborhood Profile
Les Halles
Historically the central iron-clad market of Paris, Les Halles has evolved architecturally since then but the pulsating energy has stayed the same. Now it houses the main shopping mall, which nestles underground surrounded by fast-food take-aways and international restaurants coupled with beautiful churches and the old commodity exchange. Parallel to it are the high-street stores of Rue de Rivoli and just parallel to that the Seine. The area bustles with faces from all continents and all ages at all times of the day. If enjoying high-street shopping with easy access to fast eateries and lively bars is on your agenda, this is the place to go.
