I reviewed Hotel Caron after my first stay at the property in September. I stayed here again for a night in late February en route to another city for business. I had the opportunity to stop in Paris or in London, and Hotel Caron was the deciding factor since I knew the hotel was comfortable, had great service, was in... More

Beautiful little hotel, located in the just off of a beautiful little square. Great dining just a few steps away at 10+ cafes. The metro stop os less than a block away. Rooms are very nicely appointed. Th3 reception is very friendly and most helpful. I would absolutely choose again

Very recommended hotel. Actually the #1 in the Marais, according to most ranking places. I left my wife with all luggage while returning my rentsl car; the guy in the reception wouldn't give a hand, in quite a rude way ("I am not a bell boy..". We met his colleagues later, they seemed so much better service oriented..). Small rooms,... More

Very good location in a small quiet street just off the busy Rue Rivoli in the fashionable Marais district. Two steps from St. Paul metro station. Nice renovated rooms, fast wifi, desk and comfortable bed. Breakfast at € 14 is not cheap but also good quality with fresh juice and fruit salad. Very friendly and attentive staff. Small room, typical... More

As my title suggested, very good location, 2 minutes walk to the Saint-Paul station, easy commute to other places of interest. Staffs are very friendly and polite, and helpful as well. The mini-bar is complementary and everything is topped up on a timely manner, the only drawback is that as some reviewers suggested, the room is actually tiny, the friendly... More

Sure the location is superb, minutes walk from Saint-Paul and a kaleidoscope of restaurants and shops of Le Marais, but note the photos, like most places, make the rooms seem larger and more inviting. Our room was tiny, barely enough for our two hand luggages - I know space in Paris is a rarity but I was expecting something larger.... More

The staff was extremely friendly and the location superb. The breakfast was also very good(not included in the room rate). I would recommend this hotel thanks to its great customer service, location and cleanliness.

If you are staying in the centre of Paris you are unlikely to get a hotel in such a good location with the same price and quality. If your are interested in staying in of the the big chain hotels this is not for you but if you would like a small genuine Paris hotel with friendly staff you are... More

Well located in The Marais with plenty of restaurants and bars locally. Very comfortable bed, modern equipment and modern decoration make this an ideal base to visit Paris. Room not very large but adequate but in fairness it was explained at time of booking that if we wanted a shower the room would be smaller.

This is a very nice little hotel in Le Marais, with very clean rooms, nice concierge, an elevator, and short walking distance to metro, Notre Dame, and the Bastille! Hussain is a very nice gentleman who made sure our stay is wonderful. He is always here to help. We will stay here again! Highly recommended as I love the Le... More

Staying in Le Marais

Neighborhood Profile
Le Marais
The Marais is a winding maze of multi-faceted streets that beg to be explored. It bursts with small boutiques, historic buildings, cozy traditional restaurants, and hidden parks. Around each corner, you'll come across little gems of architecture spanning the centuries, from understated medieval towers to classical libraries and 17th century splendor. This neighborhood unites a rich mix of people of all ages, but it's best known for the gay scene mostly in the south and the Jewish community around Rue des Rosiers.
