I'm a late-40's guy who needed a place to stay in Paris at the last minute, and I kinda randomly found the Loft on booking.com. Bottom line: it was great, would totally stay here again. I had a shared room with 3 people I had never met before. I went to sleep before them and was a bit worried about... More

Our family of five just spent a week staying at the Loft Appartments. Booking from the other side of the world is always a bit nerve wracking not knowing what you might find but we couldn't have chosen better. We stayed in both the Duplex and the Top apartments and they were perfect. Both apartments were very clean and cosy,... More

Stayed in the Mini apartment for four nights in March 2015 celebrating our anniversary. Although the smallest apartment, it had all we needed to make our stay memorable. The bed was large and comfortable, the fridge was welcome, the basic food making facilities were fine for us, the bathroom excellent except for tarnishing on the very large mirror, it was... More

We stayed for 4 nights in September 2014, in the suite. We were met by Billy. He was great, informative, friendly and offered any assistance we might need. As we climbed the entrance stairs, the mouldy smell and poor decoration of the building filled us with dread. When Billy opened the door to the suite we warmed very quickly. It's... More

My wife and I stayed in Le Top, and it is.. 4th Floor. Excellent Apartment down a quiet street at the side of the Moulin Rouge. Met by Billy and he showed us around the apartment and gave us one or two tips.the icing on the cake for the both of us, is the View of the Moulin Rouge Windmill.... More

We booked two of these apartments for a hen party of 10 ladies. The apartments are beautifully presented traditional shabby chic Parisian style. Made very welcome by Francois the owner. Fabulous location. Will think of these apartments first next time I'm in paris.

We had the duplex on ground level. The apartment is located in a little laneway right next to Moulin Rouge and with great restaurants, pubs, cafes and shops right around the corner (the owner provides a nice folder with tips). The apartment opens into a quiet, shared courtyard. It has ample space for 5 or 6 people. The kitchen/dining/living area... More

I booked the mini in Montmatre a month before I needed it. A fortnight before I was due to travel I had a serious and challenging family crisis and decided to stay in London. I wrote to the owner- Francois- explaining that I wouldn't be able to take the booking- I'd paid my depost of 122 Euros (not 120 as... More

Read a good review about LOFT Paris in the Lonely Planet guidebook and so I decided to book this place. Right from the beginning ie. from booking onwards, my experience with this place was above par. The booking was smooth, the terms & conditions clear, the replies to inquiries prompt, etc. They even sent me an urgent booking confirmation, on... More

We stayed here on a weekend break in Paris and we have to say it was the perfect base. We stayed in one of the smaller apartments (le mini I think) which was more than large enough for a weekend away. The apartment was very clean and had all the amenities you could possibly require. It is fantastically located a... More

Staying in Montmartre

Neighborhood Profile
Montmartre
Montmartre is a bustling mix of cultures, colors, and styles which changes from one street to another. Ride the funicular (or, for a real workout, climb the steps) to the sublime Sacré-Coeur (Basilica of the Sacred Heart) with its inspiring view of the city. The church is surrounded by provincial streets and piano bars where tourists, artists, and street entertainers thrive. At the foot of the hill, Boulevard de Clichy features shops not intended for young audiences, while residences are scattered to the north and east. The diverse population includes a large part from the Arab-speaking world, Africa, and Turkey. It’s a corner of Paris full of life and dynamism with charms that can’t be found anywhere else.
