The hotel is renovated, with good materials. The bed is good, much pillows and very comfortable. Bathroom is new, with a rainshower and good products. The hotel is situated in a quiet street, just behind the Madeleine church, so perfect for shopping in galeries Lafayette & Printemps. Also many quality boutiques in the area. After reading some of the bad reviews (most of them old) I checked other websites and found great reviews for the Hotel Marigny and booked a room for myself and my 30 year old step-daughter for her first trip to Paris. We booked the hotel online more than six months in advance of our intended stay in Paris. Leaving all details and credit info with them. We received confirmation and all relevant documentation from them. Luckily, two weeks before our departure from Australia we decided to extend our stay in Paris by a few extra days and tried to contact Marigny... more

Made the reservation 2 weeks before I stayed there. Arrived at hotel and was given a room on the ground floor. Was a female traveling alone so I asked if they had any other room on another floor. They said no because they were fully booked. Room had window that opened up to the street and had no bars on... more
