I arrived before the normal check-in time and in the reception they told me my room wasn't ready yet. That being told, they gave me two keys, one of my given room and other from a different ready room and told me I could choose the ready room or wait for the other one. That never happened to me in... We loved our little room at this hotel! It is a clean, delightful little place very conveniently located. We couldn't get into our room until after 2pm, but that's to be expected. They accommodated us by housing our luggage & giving us a place to freshen up, post-flight. They didn't refill the very tiny mini-bar from night to night, but... More

We were so happy with this hotel's location, cleanness and comfort after staying one night in a dodgy hotel a few days before. There are fantastic restaurants, cafes and shops located in Le Marais as well as lots of sights to see nearby including Victor Hugo's house, the Picasso Museum, the Bastille monument, and Le Vosges. A week after staying... More

This was our second stay at the Hotel Turenne Le Marais. We stayed for four nights in a room to the front of the building. Our room was fairly compact but looked like it had been recently refurbished. It was really well appointed and comfortable. The rain shower was lovely and very much appreciated after a day's sightseeing. The welcome... More

A darling boutique hotel in the Marais, I would recommend this hotel to anyone travelling in Paris. Excellent value for money, fabulous location, clean (but small) rooms - it was just what we needed after spending our days visiting Paris. The only drawback is that if you have large luggage the rooms are small and ours didnt have a closet... More

Staying at this hotel in the Marais was a great opportunity to explore the area with all its treasures--the newly reopened Picasso museum and the Carnavalet--two great museums minutes from the hotel. Lots of patisseries and restaurants in the area to choose from. Don't miss stopping by l’Eclair de Genie on 14 rue Pavée for the best eclairs in Paris.... More

This hotel is quite conformable - the room, for Paris standards - was big enough. The room was clean and the bathroom had all the necessary toiletries. The staff in the reception are very friendly. We did not breakfast in the hotel as we thought it was somewhat expensive - given the abundant and great selection of boulangeries and coffees... More

This is the second establishment in Paris. Thank goodness for the view out the bedroom window. We were not greated when we walked in event though we said "bon jour" when we entered. Our room was extremely small so we asked for a different room .......clearly not booked full we had a choice of 3 others. (A good establishment should... More

Typical Paris-hotel with small rooms and breakfast in the lobby but clean rooms and nice staff. Perfect location in the lovely marais-quarters just five minutes to place de vosges and 15 minutes to Notre dame.

Staying in Le Marais

Neighborhood Profile
Le Marais
The Marais is a winding maze of multi-faceted streets that beg to be explored. It bursts with small boutiques, historic buildings, cozy traditional restaurants, and hidden parks. Around each corner, you'll come across little gems of architecture spanning the centuries, from understated medieval towers to classical libraries and 17th century splendor. This neighborhood unites a rich mix of people of all ages, but it's best known for the gay scene mostly in the south and the Jewish community around Rue des Rosiers.
