We travelled as a family of 4, my husband and I and two 20-something children. We had 2 rooms, both facing the street. As mentioned in other reviews, the rooms are small but they are new and clean. We were there for 3 days and never got on the metro because the hotel was walking distance to everything we wanted... More

All staff spoke English and were efficient and helpful with usual hotel questions and also tourist suggestions, lunch or dinner options and transportation. The hotel is about a 15 minute walk from Notre Dame, same to the Picasso Museum. Close to bus line too.

This hotel is a fraud. For the first time in my life, i got a small bed (small single teenage bed very uncomfortable i was unable to sleep in it for more than 230€ a night!!! In ten years of business travel, i've never seen that. This is I think the "booking" distribution channel effect. I'll never come back in... More

We stayed here for 3 nights and all in all had a nice visit. The location is very very good and you can walk almost anywhere from here. There are plenty of restaurants and bars as well as shopping close by. The room itself is Small and the bathroom smaller but this is Paris and expected. I would stay here... More

A dreadful hotel in my view which treated me as an inconvenience. It was being refurbished but this was not declared when booking as would normally be the case. If you know this information at booking you take your chances if you stay. I was woken at 830 on a Saturday morning by drilling, banging, scraping and sanding. If you... More

The perfect location in Paris next to the best shops, restaurants, transit and museums. The room was practical and basic yet very clean, modern and well serviced by the cleaning staff who were very polite and discreet. Renovations were just finishing and not a problem. The only complaint we had was that the Internet was weak in our room (605)... More

We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights in April 2015. We really enjoyed our stay because the staff was very friendly, helpful and spoke English really well. The room we received was on the other side of the hotel (not the street) so there was no view at all. The windows opened on a space between the hotel and... More

This boutique hotel is conveniently located near two different Metro stops, so we were able navigate our way around the city. It seems to be going through a remodeling, as the top two floors were off limits, and noisy during the day. My husband and I are tall people and we had to take turns walking around the room. Would not... More

We stayed in this hotel for 4 nights. It was the first time we stayed here in the area. The location of the hotel is an excellent one-it is very close to all the nice art galleries and shopping district. Paris is gorgeous in February, with different kind of atmosphere compared to May and the summer time. The hotel facility... More

Like all Paris hotels, small rooms but very modern. Staff are tremendously helpful behind the standard Parisian reserve. Superb location for restaurants shops and other stuff that doesn't feel like a tourist trap. Breakfast very much worth the money. Wifi didn't work with USA phone, but bar across the street did. Italian restaurant across the street reminds you that being... More

Staying in Le Marais

Neighborhood Profile
Le Marais
The Marais is a winding maze of multi-faceted streets that beg to be explored. It bursts with small boutiques, historic buildings, cozy traditional restaurants, and hidden parks. Around each corner, you'll come across little gems of architecture spanning the centuries, from understated medieval towers to classical libraries and 17th century splendor. This neighborhood unites a rich mix of people of all ages, but it's best known for the gay scene mostly in the south and the Jewish community around Rue des Rosiers.
