Our three nights were very pleasant. Free wifi, accommodating, 24-hour concierge. Lots of great restaurants nearby, tons of shopping. Smallish but comfortable room. Good value for a central location. Recommended.

My husband and I spent a few days here in October, 2014, on our way back from Russia. The hotel is located in the St. Germain area, and we were happy to explore new territory. We stayed there primarily because of some of the chocolate shops in the area. The room was small (as expected) but very acceptable. The showerhead... More

a quiet hotel in the center of Paris, suitable for business or pleasure. helpful staff, excellent metro connections. Rooms a trifle small, but good for this price we would use it again to visit family or sight seeing

Everything about this hotel is really good: the staff is friendly and helpful with anything you need, the location means you can walk to many wonderful places in this city (and you are very close to Metro Line 3 - Saint Placide station, less than 5 minutes walk). We stayed in a room facing the street, and it was quiet,... More

If you want to walk around Paris, this hotel is perfect for that. One black from Le bon marche, near rodin museum, you can use this extremely clean and comfortable as base point. This small hotel offers new rooms, Pleasant beds and nice service. The best hotel during my stay in Paris.

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights to celebrate our silver wedding anniversary. We chose the hotel after looking on Tripadvisor and were not disappointed. From the lovely welcome we received on arrival, to the final helpful departure, our stay was wonderful. The only slight frustration was that on our final morning there was no hot water for... More

I had several stays at Hotel de Sevres during my Paris travels as it was next to my children's apartment. It has not only clean, comfortable, has a humble luxury but also great location. The personnel were always understanding and helpful, the breakfast was quite satisfactory. If I travel to Paris again Hotel de Sevres will be one of my... More

If you only have a day or two in Paris and want to be in the left bank, the location here is terrific. About five minutes from Le Bon Marche and La Grande Epicerie, and a couple of minutes from many of the major streets in the Saint-Germain area. The receptionist speaks English, and can arrange a reliable shuttle to... More

We arrived after a very long journey from Malaysia. We had been living there and decided to have a short stop in Paris on our way back to live in the UK. We were greeted by a lovely lady who said our room was available, despite it being quite early in the morning. We reached our room to find that... More

Good afternoon, As you can imagine, I take this story very seriously. Even if we did not have such problems in the past, I personally checked all I could as soon as I was informed (as you stayed while I was on holiday). As the person at the reception told you, the lady who cleaned the room is with us... More

Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighborhood Profile
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighborhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighborhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
