The location of the hotel is great, everything is in walking distance. The rooms and bathrooms are really small, however they are convenient. Unfortunately there are lot of noise from the street at night, but this is because central location. The staff is friendly and helpful.

Hotel is petite, but so it all adds to its charm. Expect small little reception, lift with room for one and hidden corridors for the bedrooms. This is Paris and just relax and enjoy. Reception staff is very friendly, rooms and bathrooms are super clean and renovated. Beautiful little french door and balcony. Our bed was super comfortable and we... More

We had been told so much about this hotel but what we got was a letdown. Small Rooms no Aircon during very high nighttime temps and a lift that held 1 person and their luggage plus a lot of noise from the street below and the fan in the room that needed to be on high all the time outing... More

This hotel is small but a brillant location to explore Paris from. Very close to Notre Dame, Bastille and a lot of other attractions, and the city hire bikes are just across the road. Lots of restaurants in the area too. We would recommend this hotel.

We stayed here at the end of July. We were suppose to stay 3 nights however our train from London got cancelled. The staff were very understanding and only charged us for the night we stayed. Breakfast was nice, and the staff are lovely. The room was very small and noisy and the shower is so tiny. They use shower... More

We have stayed here many times and have never been disappointed. It is right on the Métro and RER, near wonderful restaurants and the Seine. Staff is like extended family - they always take good care of us. It was great to see Corinne and Youcef again.

We booked this hotel based on a recommendation from a close friend and were very satisfied - great location near the heart of Paris, very clean, modern bathroom, very close to Metro station, comfortable bed, close to cafes and a small grocery - best of all - FANTASTIC STAFF!! Joucef and Jocelyn are wonderful in so many ways - accommodating,... More

Conveniently located near lots of shops, restaurants, cafes and bars. Supermarkets near by as well. The staff is extremely friendly. The young lady who checked us in is great. We had a single room which was pretty small but big enough. I’m unsure if this is unique to this hotel or more places are like this but the toilet is... More

The room was very small and uncomfortable. you don't have a power outlet near the bed , actually you have only one. For wifi I had to register to some site in every 24 hours. And The shower was very poor I think it was broke , because I had to hold the shower faucet that the water will fall... More

We've just returned from a 3 day stay in Paris for our daughter's 18th birthday and were delighted with the hotel Victoria Chatelet. Price was very reasonable, breakfast good and rooms/bathrooms comfortable and clean. Best of all was the friendly and helpful staff, from cleaners to reception, all of whom made us feel very welcome. Would like to mention Joceline... More

Staying in Les Halles

Neighborhood Profile
Les Halles
Historically the central iron-clad market of Paris, Les Halles has evolved architecturally since then but the pulsating energy has stayed the same. Now it houses the main shopping mall, which nestles underground surrounded by fast-food take-aways and international restaurants coupled with beautiful churches and the old commodity exchange. Parallel to it are the high-street stores of Rue de Rivoli and just parallel to that the Seine. The area bustles with faces from all continents and all ages at all times of the day. If enjoying high-street shopping with easy access to fast eateries and lively bars is on your agenda, this is the place to go.
