For Paris is the Price/Value rate good. Very smal rooms. Simple Breakfast with industrial products. Around the a hotel some nice bars. Tip: No spaces for cars around. You will get a Ticket very fast for wrong parking.

We chose this hotel because of its proximity to Montparnesse station and price. We only stayed one night as we were catching the train to the west coast of France. It meet both these criteria well. It was about a five minute walk from where the airport bus dropped us at Montparnesse station. The room was clean, with a newly... More

Hotel Agenor (Montparness) - After spending 5 nights at this hotel, I'm on the fence as to whether I would recommend it to anyone. If you're thinking about staying here, set your expectation bar on the lowest setting and you might not be disappointed. Extremely small room. Bed is old and tired. Carpet is desperate need of cleaning. Grout in... More

To make a long story short, we needed to adjust our reservation, shortening from 4 to 2. Since the initial booking was through booking.com, we were instructed by the hotel to cancel the entire booking and rebook only the nights we needed. Did not work, emails to Agenor saying such (and showing concern as for a short while, we were... More

Although the room and sheets were clean, the bathroom had a bad mold problem and the stench was unbearable. When I tried to tell the staff about it, someone came to look and told me he didn't think it could be mold since the bathroom was cleaned every day, then shrugged and left. I was astonished! The staff barely speak... More

Stayed 4 nights late May in room on third floor. Room barely large enough for couple & only highlight was being able to open the window for fresh air. The room was not vacuumed during our stay and sheets not changed. Quirky little lift with room for one person and suitcase and circular stairs. Foyer appears to being prepared for... More

This hotel was booked through Venere. The trick is that they take payment in advance so that once you book you are stuck . Our room was on the third floor. The room was tiny and dirty with no ventilation in the room or the adjoining tiny bathroom and shower. So the windows had to be left open all the... More

Stayed 4 nights here to escape all the Jubilee celebrations in Emgland. The bedroom was quite small, with no drawer space at all, but decent sized shower room with a window, which was nice. Could have done with a kettle in the room, but maybe that is too much for 2 star! Hotel is supposedly non smoking but ash trays... More

The petit déjeuner is superb for Paris hotels! One of the best breakfasts I have had at a Paris hotel. Plenty of croissants and other delicious breads, lots of great coffee, jus d'orange, all brought to me quickly with a smile. In fact, all service was provided with a genuine smile. I liked the price: about 70 euro/night. The location... More

We stayed at this hotel for 4 days and paid 420 euros, and for this we got a room with a dirty carpet, mouldy bathroom tiles and grey curtains in the room and shower. In the 4 days we stayed the sheets weren't changed once, even on request and the bed wasn't made properly even once. I agree with the... More

Staying in Montparnasse

Neighborhood Profile
Montparnasse
The namesake tower of Montparnasse dominates over the landscape but the fun part is the throbbing life that goes on below it. Bright lights, busy cinemas, brasseries and diners encompass hidden museums and parks to entertain the masses. Long avenues lead away from the tower to take you to unsuspecting places and historical monuments and treasures. In between lie adorable ivy-covered houses with beams and small gardens to match. Just a short metro ride away from the center of Paris this neighborhood has something for every hour of the day.
