This lovely spot is really well located for the Louvre, the Tulleries, shopping and restaurants . It's in a quiet street which is quite unusual for Paris. They kindly upgraded us to a larger room with a little lounge ; shore and bath plus double basins . We had a plate of lovely macarons too. The hotel is elegantly furnished... More

The small but unfussy, modern rooms, friendly English-speaking staff and excellent concierge (who had plenty of tips for unusual shopping like where to find a fabulous hand-made hat) along with a convenient location near the Louvre make this one of my favourite Parisian hotels. There are plenty of cafes and shops nearby.

This is a seriously lovely hotel. The first greeting is marvellous, the service excellent and the hotel staff are always friendly and pleasant without being obtrusive. Great cocktails with a good story from an excellent barman. Location is brilliant - seconds from the Louvre yet incredibly quiet. Room immaculate, good bathroom and exceptionally comfortable bed. So if you can afford... More

Finding a hotel in Paris, like in any city can be challenging. My travel agent at Virtuoso recommended this hotel to me for my long weekend trip to Paris. From the moment we stepped foot into the hotel, we knew it was the right choice. It is literally in the central of Paris. The staff is unbelievably helpful and friendly.... More

We stayed at the Grand Hotel du Palais Royal for three days prior to our Viking Cruise.. Though pricey, the value was there. The was evident by the little efforts made by the staff. In particular, the concierge did a wonderful job of getting us reservations at the Le Jules Verne Restaurant within the Eiffel Tower. This is a tough... More

From the moment we arrived we knew we had made the right choice of Hotel. Service was above expected, even being shown to our room and walked through the amenities, it's a shame not all 5* hotels perform this service. It was our anniversary and the hotel had left water, some very fine macaroons, and a voucher for drinks in... More

Last minute, we decided to come to Paris to celebrate New Year 2015 by splurge a bit in a nice boutique hotel. First choice was Maison Souquet (rated no.1 in Trip Advisor Dec'15), then we changed our mind since we want something a bit more modern renaissance look. Stayed for 5 nights and never regret to choose this hotel. Tuck... More

We came over Christmas. The staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. The hotel is beautiful, the rooms were lovely. Breakfasts were very good including the Christmas Day brunch. As many restaurants were closed on Boxing Day, we had a light dinner in the hotel Bar which was really nice and had a good menu with good food. We all had... More
