The hotel is located within a few min walking from the Gare du Nord, where you have plenty of trains, rer and metro lines. However be careful when you arrive there, since gare is really big and better for you if you know where to go to reach the hotel - for example follow the signs "sortie - rue dunkerque"... More

We cannot give an informed review of this accommodation as on arrival we were told (even after telephoning that morning, for confirmation of booking) that they were over booked and we would be staying in the hotel next door. The Grand Hotel Magenta... As it was after 10.30 in the evening and on a tight schedule we felt we were left... More

Only thing going for this hotel was the fact that they are in walking distance of Gare Du Nord. The room was tiny, dingy and old and although the concierge on day one was helpful, the Asian looking receptionist on day 3 of whom we had specifically requested 3 wake up calls as we had an early morning train to... Hotel Cambrai has great location near Gare du Nord. If you arrive with train it is nicely in walking distance from Gare du Nord. Hotel staff was very helpful and speak english well. Our room in 6th floor was quite small but clean with little bit of noice from traffic. Allthough hotel is budget hotel and better not expect any... More

Every year I do a Pilgrimage to the Holy City of Lourdes and stay at the Hotel La Solitude. I fly into Paris for a couple of days and stay at the Hotel Cambrai. For the reasonable price I stay there year after year. I like it because it is walking distance from the Gare Du Nord which is the... More

Amazing location close to both gare de l'est and gare du nord, clean room with a tv and private shower, large shower by Parisian standards. FYI the train doesn't run at night so u can take a bus (n140 or n143) from gare de l'est, a 2 min walk from the hotel, gare du nord is about a 7 min... More

This hotel is ideally located , very close to Gare Du Nord. So either if arriving in Paris via train or plane to CDG ( there are good connections to Gare Du Nord from the airport), this is walking distance away. The rooms are albeit small but not tiny. Fixtures have seen better days but are functional. Internet is free... More
