We found out about Peet's 'A Room in Paris' via trip advisor. We are happy that we decided to stay there because it was a lovely welcome to Paris. It felt like we were staying at a friend's place, instead of a hotel, because as we knew from the reviews and correspondence with Peet prior to our visit, this is... More

We stayed here for 3 nights at the beginning of the month. great little b&B. Located on the second floor. we had the basic room, sharing the bathroom's with others. this was never a problem, only had to wait once for 5 minutes, other times it was empty and always very clean! Breakfast is also great, something different for each... More

Stayed 2 nights here. Peet was not around. Served by Rahim, nice person with great sense of humour. He makes tasty croissants too ! Walking distance from Gare du Nord (Eurostar). Not difficult to find if you have google map image with you. The lift is small. Typical Paris apartment. Clean room, look exactly like the photo. Authentic Paris decor.... More

Finished my 3rd one night stay a few weeks back, and was really glad to come home to this light, clean, place after time elsewhere in France. Peet was very welcoming when I arrived at 9 AM on my flight from the USA, and was able to give me a bottom sheet and pillow case so I could rest my... More

We stayed in Peet’s place for one night, but it was a very nice short stay. The room is not so big, but it is clean, neat and we just love the way things are arranged here. The building is just beautiful and we love it so much. Breakfast is nicely served and the dining place is so comfortable and... More

This was a wonderful place to stay. The location was very convenient and Peet is a great host. It was nice that he would sit and chat with us during breakfast, offering tips and other useful information, as well just just sharing stories. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious, with fresh croissants every morning. The french toast he made one morning... More

I sent a review just after we left Paris but it must have been lost in cyberspace. We had a great experience here. Convenient, good restaurants, one feels like one lives in the house, unlike a hotel. Clean and quiet. Unlocked bedroom doors didn't bother us a bit. You're a guest in their home and guests don't lock their doors.... More

We arrived after 24 hours flying from New Zealand with only 3 hours on ground at Hong Kong - no sleep and very tired. It was so easy to catch the RER B from Charles de Gaulle to Gare Du Nord. Then it was only one block to the BnB. Would recommend 'doing the walk ' on google street view... More

I was in Paris in October 2012 and my cousin and I decided to stay at A Room in Paris. We found Peet to be a bit unfriendly and abrupt throughout our short visit. It seems we arrived "too early" and he essentially blamed us for our room not being ready. When we finally got into our room, we noticed... More

Dear reader, It is as always very disappointing to read comments like these. Most certainly when they are not justified; If this lady would have taken the time to read our website or the other critics here on this site, she would have known up front what she could expect. We're not a hotel in France a chambre d'hôte is... More

Great location, about 5mim walk from Gare du Nord station. Acessible to almost all tourist attractions. Theres a very small lift in the building. Phew!! No need to carry all the way up to lvl 2. Alot cafes/restaurants around the B&B. Room is clean, not very big but is good enough for me and my hubby.(we stayed in room one) Breakfast... More
