We spent two nights here during a recent stay to Paris. The rooms are not large, but very modern (not always typical for a Paris hotel) and well-equipped. We had a beautiful view of the Palais du Luxembourg from our fourth-floor room. The hotel staff was fine (we didn't ask anything of them, and they didn't seem particularly friendly on... More

The hotel was basic. Rates were most reasonable for the location. Room was very clean and the bed very comfortable. Lots of street noise at night. Breakfast was easily available at the many cafes in the area. Lacking in the "charm" department but one doesn't come to Paris to sit in one's hotel room. Well, not in this hotel.

Spent 8 nights with 2 then 7 family. Used 4 different rooms including the family double room. Great price, friendly staff with most speaking adequate English and a location in the center of everything you want. Also lots of taxis available for transportation and 5 minutes from the Metro at St Germain, 10 from the train connection through Luxembourg. This... More

we stayed in the large room on the top floor which was spacious (by paris standards). beds were very comfortable and the room and bathroom were clean. the breakfast is very expensive and in my opinion not worth it. even my children aged 6 and 8 paid the adult rate of 12 euro per person. it consists of cereal, fruit... This hotel was very nice and clean. The hotel also has a lift for your luggage which is nice. The continental breakfast was good. The hotel overlooks the Odeon Theatre and is around the corner from Luxembourg garden. The closest metro station is about a 7-8 minute walk away and about a 10-12 minute walk to the Latin quarter.

This is a moderately priced hotel in Paris in an excellent location so don't expect frills. What you will get is a decent room with free wi-fi in a very good location. Our room - the quad because we had 3 people (the two of us and our 6 year old)- was very spacious with a huge (by european standards)... More

In the heart of Saint-German-des-Prés, the mythical Parisian district, this hotel is comfortable, simple and well-located. Perfect for families with a child because the bedrooms with a queen size bed and a extra bed, specially the second floor’s. Great bathroom. One minute, by foot, from Jardin du Luxembourg, three minutes from Luxembourg subway station, four minutes from Boulevard Saint-German, four... More

We had a quick weekend in Paris and choose to stay in this hotel as it is one of the few affordable options in central Paris for four people without needing to book two separate rooms. The hotel is clean, well located and reasonably priced. We booked the double room suite for 220. euro and were greeted with a clean... More

My family and I loved this hotel. It was perfect for a family of four. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The only thing that threw us off the first day was that they asked us to leave the hotel room key each time we left the hotel- it seemed odd to us, but that is apparently very common... More

A wee gem of a hotel in a really great location beside the beautiful Odeon theatre. Walking one way takes you through quaint streets oozing with Parisian character and quirky shops. Head in the other direction and experience the glorious open space that is the Jardin de Luxembourg.Hotel near both Odeon Metro Station and Luxembourg RER station for direct links... More

Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighborhood Profile
Saint-Germain-des-Pres
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighborhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighborhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
