The room (38 on the 4th floor) was on the small side, but did have a comfortable double bed, a small desk and generous shelf space plus a small open wardroom section with 8 hangers. The bathroom was very small; the shower was ok, but there was little room between the wash basin and the door and when sitting on... More

Comfortable bed, good shower, quiet at night. Staff friendly and helpful. The hotel is all you could ask for and more at a competitive cost but the location is superb. In the heart of the 6th, quietly located but a few steps away from Carrefour de l'Odeon and just a few steps in the other direction from the Luxembourg gardens.... More

The Michelet Odeon has two apartment-style family rooms each featuring two bedrooms (one with a double bed, the other with two twins) and a large bathroom. Each of these accommodations is clean and comfortable with ample room for a family of four. The location of the hotel on Place de l'Odeon is superb, and the service we received from all... More

The hotel is really nicely situated; the rooms are not to small (some with a splendid vue on the théatre de l'Odéon), the staff is very friendly. (The only thing I missed were tissue papers in the bathroom ;-) )

It's not our first time in the hotel - we stay here always when we come to Paris: the location is great, staff is very friendly and rooms for 2 stars hotel are big enough and really good. You can always have a cup of coffee downstairs if you wish.

First stayed here over 35 years ago when I was a student in France. Been back many times since because of the location, pleasant staff and great value for money. Quiet area with good restaurants and the Jardin du Luxembourg nearby. Room was small and cosy with a comfortable bed and tiny en suite. Highly recommended.

The location couldn't be better -- within walking distance of most things listed in the guide books and close to a central Metro stop and useful bus lines. It's an older hotel, with a creaky elevator. My friend and I needed a room with twin beds, and they apparently only have ones that are either close to the noisy laundry... More

This is my favorite location to stay in Paris. The Jardin du Luxemboug is always a wonderful place to stroll. It's a short walk to the Rodin Museum, Notre Dame, and all the cafe's and shops in the Left Bank. Public transit is easy. The Hotel is clean, quiet, comfortable and totally friendly, including to my charming small dog.

This hotel has two stars rating, however, I stayed in 3 stars hotel in Paris and it was not better at all. Actually, room was bigger than in 3 stars and better design. Hotel is clean, staff is friendly, location is very convenient. It is close to RER line that goes to the airport. You don't need to order shuttle... More

I stayed at this hotel last July and found the room to be small, the bed was tilted and very uncomfortable. I had been staying here for many years and never had this sort of experience before. Further, the staff was not friendly and rude. I rated the hotel on Facebook and received a reply asking me to give them... More

Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighborhood Profile
Saint-Germain-des-Pres
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighborhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighborhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
