A very nice, small hotel in a quiet street, but nevertheless close to both the Montparnasse-rue Gaité hype and the rue Daguerre area with many restaurants of all styles and cuisines not yet full of tourists. Nearby there are several Metro and Bus lines providing easy access to the entire city. Our hotel room was small but had an adequate... More

Clean, comfortable, very nice staff, perfect location: these are some of the features of this hotel. I stayed here for 3 nights with my boyfriend in the superior room and I'll advice the hotel to my parents and all my friends. Highly recommended!!!

We're from Brasil, and me and my wife wanted to go to Paris for a honeymoon getaway. This cozy hotel near Cémitere du Montparnasse is just what we wanted. Quiet, clean, discreeet and well situated. Would definitely come back again!.

Well-located hotel, very near the Metro (appr. 5 minutes walk). The room recently renovated and very nice decorated. White, modern and fresh bathroom. The whole hotel (the terasse included) is beautiful decorated. Very nice people working there.

This conveniently located hotel is warm and comfortable with a friendly atmosphere, The rooms are a normal Parisian sized, which means a bit small, but they are clean and nicely decorated. Previous occupants include Jean Paul Satre and Simone de Beauvoir, I have stayed here twice so far but not yet had any brilliant philosophical inspiration. I obviously need to... More

A very lovely and comfortable hotel with a little garden. The breakfast buffet was good. Reception staff are generally friendly and helpful. From the hotel, it is short stroll to the theatres and restaurants nearby. Just 7 minuntes' stroll, it is so convenient to reach Gare Montparnasse. Travellers need no cabs or metros to reach this railway station. A highly... More

We had a room to the garden side. The room was small but very nice, breakfast is delicious, very welcoming service, lot's of restaurants and small shops in the surrounding, good price. The hotel could also have 4 stars.

It is wonderful that you still could find this kind of hotels, where the main target of their staff is to give the best treatment to their guests. The hotel are located in the heard of Monpartnasse, and the facilities are really clean, nice and comfortable. Absolutely recommend hotel.

Hotel Mistral is nearest to Metro Station Gaite. Its rooms are little and nothing fancy, but they are clean, the people at the reception are very warm and helpful. The Breakfast is comprehensive. 'Rochereau Denfert' station is 10-12 minutes walk and can get you a direct metro to CDG airport. A little walk away from the hotel towards "Gare Montparnasse",... More

We found this hotel to be quite well located in terms of easy Metro and CDG connections. It is not the most glamorous Parisian hotel but very efficient and compact layout. I would say that everything is at the bare minimum in terms of sizes but it is quite acceptable depending on the price. The standard room is just large... More

Staying in Montparnasse

Neighborhood Profile
Montparnasse
The namesake tower of Montparnasse dominates over the landscape but the fun part is the throbbing life that goes on below it. Bright lights, busy cinemas, brasseries and diners encompass hidden museums and parks to entertain the masses. Long avenues lead away from the tower to take you to unsuspecting places and historical monuments and treasures. In between lie adorable ivy-covered houses with beams and small gardens to match. Just a short metro ride away from the center of Paris this neighborhood has something for every hour of the day.
