We stayed there for the first time earlier this month, and will definitely return! Our room was small, but perfect - clean and comfortable, and the staff was friendly and helpful. We were on the 3rd étage (4th floor). Pretty quiet, but still heard the late night Parisienne hot rodders cruising down the street. Anywhere else, that might have been... More

Just back from a 4 day stay. We wanted a small and typical Parisian hotel but not in the centre of paris. We had a great stay...very clean and very comfortable bed. Yes, not a lot of room but logically you just sleep in it! The shower was great..lots of warm water...much needed after a long busy day...you just had... More

If you're a tall person, the room might not be comfortable. I was only here for a tech conference, and my room needed to be just that, a room. So for me it was enough. And the room was perfectly clean, as was the bathroom. It's only a few steps from the metro, so that's handy. For tourists, this might... More

I just have to remember that Paris IS expensive. If you want to be in the high end areas and a higher end hotel, you will have to pay for it. This hotel was very clean. The hotel staff was BEYOND helpful and friendly. It was quiet and located very conveniently for transportation anywhere. The rooms were small and looking... More

It's a grand hotel if you just want somewhere handy and affordable to stay while in Paris. The rooms are small and outdated, but perfectly comfortable. The receptionist was very good, very helpful and pleasant. Very handy as near the metro. The only bad thing is breakfast as you don't get much for 12 euros. But will stay there again... More

There was a desk and chair between the mirror and the bed. You can't use it because the room was too small to pull it out and sit on it. you have to stay in bed during your stay in hotel. The breakfast was 12 euros The only available lift was too small it is not possible to get on... More

Mrs. Mr. Thank you for choosing our hotel We are sorry you felt that way, and give us that rating and left with that impression the reality is far from that .Our room may be small but we indicate the size in the description of the room on all the websites, the size is quite subjective our room are the... Nice hotel close to the metro station Daumesnill: you can reach the most important monuments in few minutes. Friendly and competent staff: they all speak English. Breakfast is excellent with good and fresh products every day. Rooms are not so big but if you go to Paris you will not stay in the room! Enjoy to stay at Grand Hôtel... More

Boutique Hotel on the outskirts of the main city centre. Nonetheless close to the Metro. Small size, typical of Paris Hotels though. Booked based on tripadvisor reviews Pros - Included breakfast (okay selection) - Good aircon/ventilation (made the small room size quite ok with fresh air) Cons - Not in the city centre - but still very accessible as it's... The hotel is located with 100 m of Daumensil metro (M6 & M8). Thru these two lines you can travel to any part of Paris and nearby Ile de France stations. There are many restaurants opposite the road side. An Indian restaurant is within 5 - 10 min walking distace. Reception staff is very copoerative. They can arrange day tirp... More

Booked the hotel ( 3 adult) based on reviews and was not disappointed. The hotel is in a great location, only few stops (20 min) to any sight seeing yet in a quiet and safe location. Went out to a local restuarant just opposite the hotel every night for dinner - au metro and food was fantastic and cheap- highly... More

Staying in Bercy / Nation

Neighborhood Profile
Bercy / Nation
Nestled between the Seine, Bastille, and Père Lachaise lies a peaceful side of town where wide avenues and impressive buildings accompany green spaces and small parks. Landscaped havens are plentiful, from the Bercy Park to La Coulée Verte and most impressively the Bois de Vincennes, which even contains a medieval castle on its doorstep. For an escape from the masses head to this calming neighborhood where real Parisians make their homes.
