Lovely hotel. Small friendly comfortable. Loved it. Right next to metro station so perfect to get about especially as the Hotel isn't central which was good too as was quiet and proper French. Loved it. :-).

Hotel is located in a residential neighborhood; from the tourist spots it will take around 20 mins on the metro to get here. Place is easy to find. Find the Au Metro cafe in the circle. With your back to that look right and you will see a large sign saying hotel in blue letters on a white background. Plenty... More

We stayed here over new year and it was a good stay but a few things held it back from being a great stay. Firstly the pros Location is a stones throw from the metro Daumesnil station and as mentioned you can be most places within Paris within 20 minutes. The room and bathroom was very clean and was made... More

My partner and I stayed at the Grand Hotel Dore over Christmas 2014 (a total of 7 nights). Being that the hotel is in Paris, and based on the online reviews, we expected that the hotel's rooms would be small and yep...they truly are. But in all fairness, our hotel room was no less smaller than other hotel rooms that... More

We stayed there for the first time earlier this month, and will definitely return! Our room was small, but perfect - clean and comfortable, and the staff was friendly and helpful. We were on the 3rd étage (4th floor). Pretty quiet, but still heard the late night Parisienne hot rodders cruising down the street. Anywhere else, that might have been... More

Just back from a 4 day stay. We wanted a small and typical Parisian hotel but not in the centre of paris. We had a great stay...very clean and very comfortable bed. Yes, not a lot of room but logically you just sleep in it! The shower was great..lots of warm water...much needed after a long busy day...you just had... More

If you're a tall person, the room might not be comfortable. I was only here for a tech conference, and my room needed to be just that, a room. So for me it was enough. And the room was perfectly clean, as was the bathroom. It's only a few steps from the metro, so that's handy. For tourists, this might... More

I just have to remember that Paris IS expensive. If you want to be in the high end areas and a higher end hotel, you will have to pay for it. This hotel was very clean. The hotel staff was BEYOND helpful and friendly. It was quiet and located very conveniently for transportation anywhere. The rooms were small and looking... More

It's a grand hotel if you just want somewhere handy and affordable to stay while in Paris. The rooms are small and outdated, but perfectly comfortable. The receptionist was very good, very helpful and pleasant. Very handy as near the metro. The only bad thing is breakfast as you don't get much for 12 euros. But will stay there again... More

There was a desk and chair between the mirror and the bed. You can't use it because the room was too small to pull it out and sit on it. you have to stay in bed during your stay in hotel. The breakfast was 12 euros The only available lift was too small it is not possible to get on... More
