This is a great spot if you are NOT concerned with amenities other than the necessities of a bed and a place to set out from. It is a great location in the heart of ACTION. I have stayed here many times and recommended to many people, the staff are very helpful and the rooms are clean.

Situated in the Quartier Latin right next to Notre Dame in a very touristed street. Lots and lots of people, rather noisy, plenty (bad-taste) souvenir shops and mediocre "restaurants". But - as the hotel is clean, prices are on the cheap side, and using the aircon can justify closing the windows, I find this a great place to stay. Hotel... More

Nice little hotel that is perfectly located(close enough to Notre Dame). The hotel has a nice French vibe, due to its tiny rooms and nice elevator. It is clean and it has a decent wi-fi connection. The fact that bothered us the most was the noise, our window was facing some night clubs and in the morning you could hear... More

Let's get one thing straight - it's in a fantastic location, right in the heart of St Michel and 10 seconds' walk from great cafes, shops and the metro. BUT...the hotel is very basic and overpriced. The staff were friendly enough but as soon as there was a problem - my daughters' room's aircon was faulty - they just turned... More

The location is perfect (sightseeing, airport transfer, going out at night), rooms are clean but tiny and price reasonable. Rooms in the street, though, are noisy at night, very noisy since there is a disco in front of the hotel. Wifi is available but limited to a number of connections in total, so quite often you could not connect In... More

Excellent location minutes from St Michel Metro station. Five minutes walk to Notre Dame and the Seine. Clean rooms with good hot shower. Free wifi (a little in reliable sometimes) 24 hour service with friendly staff. Would definitely visit again.

The Hotel du Mont Blanc's street, the Latin Quarter's Rue de Hachette, is the Bourbon Street of Paris--clubs, cafes, souvenir shops, restaurants, gelato parlors, creperies, and more. But it's just feet from the RER B line/Metro stop of St. Michel-Notre Dame and from Notre Dame itself. Ask for a room away from the street and you'll never know it's party... More

I booked this hotel for one night on a business trip. I wanted to have a reasonable hotel near RER Station St Michel/Notre Dame. The hotel is tiny and in the middle of a busy street in Quartier Latin - so it is pretty noisy because of all the restaurants and bars in the street. My (tiny) single bedroom was... More

Rooms were overly clean (bleached daily) and they don't allow any food in rooms, which suggests a previous rodent and/or pest problem. It can a little loud at night but that's the tradeoff for being in the heart of the latin quarter. The wifi in the rooms was very spotty and unreliable. The location is ideal for proximity to Latin... More

A great room for four in the garret, small but comfortable. The staff were very friendly allowing us to store our bags after the stay was over. The area is very loud and busy but there are lots of attractions close by within walking distance. Highly recommended.

Staying in Odeon / Saint-Michel

Neighborhood Profile
Odeon / Saint-Michel
As the bustling center of entertainment for the residents of the Rive Gauche, the activity at Odéon never stops. Boulevards are lined with traditional cafes, restaurants, and boutique cinemas. The streets surrounding the fountain at Saint-Michel provide eateries from around the world. Lively bars are just next door and the prototypical terraced French brasserie is on every corner. The setting for this area is second to none; the Haussmann-style boulevards are contrasted by monumental architecture and overshadowed by the iconic Notre Dame, all within a moment’s walk from the Seine. This neighborhood's world-famous bookshops, cafés, and streets will not fail to impress you.
