We stayed here at the start of our holiday and at the end just as a stop over. The hotel is in a reasonable location close to the Metro. Our first night was in a four person room which was a little cramped but adequate. Our second visit we were given two rooms which was much better. The rooms were... More

My room is on the 6th floor, the lift only goes to 5, but I don't mind. I can open the window for fresh, cool air which is desperately needed in summer. Otherwise the room would be oppressive. Hot water in the shower is just ok but the room is very clean. Basic but fine. Breakfast is adequate but the... More

We stayed here on a budget trip to Paris. The room and ensuite were both clean, if a little small, but we did have a budget room on the 6th floor. Being on the 6th floor there was no one above us making noise, but the rue de charonne was noisy late at night and in the morning with vehicles.... More

We stayed there in early June 2014. Our room was on the fifth floor and was quite nice. The room was clean and fairly quiet. Several people staying on the floor above us complained about the quality of their rooms. It is a good location for staying in Paris, quite close to the Metro.

I stayed here with an Intrepid tour for the first night of a trip and only had one night. The room I had on the top floor was pretty threadbare. White walls, no pics, just some water stains, a closet with no doors and two hangers, a small desk and a chair. It was pretty cold in the room so... More

The hotel is places in a good location very close to metro station Charonne. The room was small, but we had no problems with hot water and the room was cleaned every day. If you are looking for a good neighborhood and a casual stay this is a good place. Don't expect anything special, just a small clean place to... More

There are several 'Art Hotels' in Paris and are all independent. The name and the website set your expectations high, the hotel fails to meet anywhere close to the expectations set. This hotel is very Paris, in that the rooms are small, but we expected that from our many Paris trips. We had hoped for a hotel with style and... More

Booked a superior room which was the usual Paris size, with en suite. Looked good but was a bit 'all fur coat and no knickers'. The shower didn't work, which we reported, was told that it had been repaired, which it hadn't. Let's not mention the need to open the windows the second you got in the room as on... More

I like Bastille as an area to base myself when visiting Paris. It's a lively area and has a lot to offer - places to eat and drink, and it's a leisurely stroll or short hop on the Metro to the centre. The hotel is a 5min walk from Bastille metro. It was clean, my room was nicely decorated and... More

Myself and my girlfriend stayed here for 2 nights at the end of March. We had a tight budget when booking so opted for this cheap little hotel. Our expectations were pretty low and we would have just settled for somewhere clean which we could use as a base to explore from. From the moment we walked in we fell... More
