We absolutely adored this hotel for the one night we stayed there. We wanted a hotel somewhat off the beaten path, and this was ideal. While it is in the center of Montmartre, it is off a side street and relatively quiet. It is walking distance to Sacre Coeur, Moulin Rouge, and the charm of that area of Paris. It... More

I stayed at this hotel for 5 nights. Having previously lived in Paris for 3 years I wanted a hotel in or around Montmartre my favorite area. I also wanted a boutique hotel and this hotel was perfect. We took the private taxi booked by the hotel from CDG which was well worth the money as I had just finished... More

We had a great stay at Le Relais Montmartre. Great staff!! Great room!!! And great pleace!! Totally recommended!! The only thing to complain is the WI-FI signal in the room, it didn't work. Thanks a lot for such a nice stay! Perfect hotel to explore the city!

I booked this hotel for a long weekend, largely based on the positive reviews from this site. Thought it only polite to add my own thoughts! The hotel is in a great location, just a couple of minutes from the Metro and in a vibrant part of town with a great selection of shops, cafes and restaurants on the doorstep.... More

This place is probably the best three star place we have stayed and we will certainly be back. It is clean, the service is friendly and the location is great. You are in the heart of Montmartre with three underground stops a 5min walk away.

Lovely hotel in an ideal location for transport, restaurants, amenities and sights. Very peaceful at night but only yards away from the bustle of Reu Lepic and rue des abbesses. We found the staff to be very helpful throughout; We upgraded to a larger room with a bath which was a bonus after a day walking in Paris. WE would... More

What a great find! The hotel is located on a quiet street within walking distance from the action of Montmartre and just 200m from a Metro stop. We enjoyed every moment from the cordial reception until check-out. The rooms are small, but very efficiently furnished with beautiful wooden beams on the ceiling. The beds were very comfy and the shower... More

Very nice and quite hotel about 50 meters far from thee famous Amelie's café and in the same center of Montmartre. Personnel is very friendly and helpful. They don't have any problem speaking English. Rooms are small, but not tiny, and furnished in a romantic manner. Bathroom is attached to the room and very nice.

My wife and I spend most of the year in hotels - but this hotel was for us one of its kind. We felt like home. The staff members were so friendly, the rooms so cosy that we can only recommend this hotel to everyone who wants to feel like home in Paris as well. The surrounding of the hotel... More

My husband and I were delighted to spend two nights at this hotel November 21st and 22nd 2014 on a short stop in Paris on the way to a conference elsewhere in France. I was thrilled with the location in the charming Montmartre neighborhood, in particular the hotel's proximity to a wide range of shopping and dining experiences. A minute's... More

Staying in Montmartre

Neighborhood Profile
Montmartre
Montmartre is a bustling mix of cultures, colors, and styles which changes from one street to another. Ride the funicular (or, for a real workout, climb the steps) to the sublime Sacré-Coeur (Basilica of the Sacred Heart) with its inspiring view of the city. The church is surrounded by provincial streets and piano bars where tourists, artists, and street entertainers thrive. At the foot of the hill, Boulevard de Clichy features shops not intended for young audiences, while residences are scattered to the north and east. The diverse population includes a large part from the Arab-speaking world, Africa, and Turkey. It’s a corner of Paris full of life and dynamism with charms that can’t be found anywhere else.
