I stayed at the twin room with shower. The room size is okay. But the WC is suuuuuper small. There are only stairs, so it's a bit difficult to carry your suitcase if you stay in the higher floors. The room wasn't very comfortable, but it was good enough. If you are just looking for a place to stay for... More

Awesome Location was so easy to get around Paris, the metro was on the corner of the street the Lourve was a 15min walk away. Plently of food and shops near by. The hotel was clean, tidy and the staff were very friendly. I would definitely stay here again.

I am surprised with the reviews of people who want cheap accommodation in the great location and write after that how they were shocked with old ladder with ugly carpet and lack of comfort on the room. For its price the hotel is ok. Especially for those who has no plans of sitting in room. The staff is helpful and... More

Great lil hotel in the heart of china town. Fantastic restaurants and bars near by (wine bars, cocktail bars and pubs). centrally located and easy to get to. Room was basic but clean and staff were efficient and friendly. Shared bathroom with most rooms but we had our own lil bathroom. Very cheap for Paris!!!

It was a basic room at a great location with a cheap price. Rooms overlook the lobby, so no great view, but I liked the security system and how easy it was to get where I wanted to go. I would recommend if you are a budget traveller.

Came as the first stop of our travelling around Europe. Hotel is a bit dingey and is located in red light district the Rue St Denis but not like a British one - lots of nice bars and restaurants nearby. Yes it is a cramped hotel and not as clean or bright as it could be, but for a cheap... More

Pro's * The location is very good; the hotel is located in a lively area, close to the metro and about 8 minutes walk to the Louvre. * The price is very low, according to Paris standards. * Wifi is good and stable. * Rather clean. * Staff is friendly. Cons * The hotel is very basic; small rooms without... More

Really basic hotel but in a very convenient area. Perfect for one or two nights but definitely not luxurious, however perfectly clean and safe. 2 minutes from metro station, but easy to walk to lots of different places of interest.

Not too hard to find from the metro station, but when I rounded the corner noticed something similar to a red light district. Rang the front bell, where I was buzzed in, and that's when the problems occurred, immediately noticed man didn't even bother to make hisself known, and the horrible dirty dingy carpeted stairs; walked up and immediately noticed... An affordable hotel which was at a location that is accessible to transport and not far from all the attractions. Booked through hotels.com with budget price and it was just a short distance walk from the Reaumur Sebastapol Metro station. But the neighborhood is populated by the most awful prostitutes that can be imaginedthe, amount of noise coming from the... More

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
