we took the "special internet offer" and stayed there for four nights in june 2009. we were originally trying to get into hotel Tiquetonne but it was fully booked, luckily this one turned out to be not a bad option at all. it is, dare I say, a typical Parisian one-star hotel with an entrance almost hidden, the narrowest of... more

This is basically a hostel. We stayed in a very small double, about 100 square foot room with a bidet and sink. Bathrooms were a closet in the middle of the flight of stairs, and paid 2.50 euro to shower. The towels are tiny and the furnishings are as basic as it gets. I would only recommend this to a... more

We booked this hotel from the travel agent at the CDG airport when the lady advise this hotel on my criteria of central and cosy hotel. The nice cab driver took us to the doorstep of the hotel and after droping our luggage drove away with a a real sorry look on his face. The mystery was solved in a... more

Well, I guess you get what you pay for. The hotel really is more like a cheap motel. As a couple of people have mentioned, the smug attitude of the concierge/manager don't help. After we'd tackled the two stories of narrow stairs, and got the key to our room, we discovered that a "room with private bathroom" actually meant a... more

I would recommend this hotel for short stays in Paris or for people who require very basic accommodations. The room was clean, the staff was accommodating, and the location was incredible. Granted, the room is small and the surrounding location might be off-putting to some but if you're spending that much time in your hotel in Paris, something is wrong.... more

I stayed here for three nights in the beginning of June 08. I found the rooms very good (there were 2 of us in different rooms), clean and comfortable, apparently newly decorated (clean blue carpets). The staff was helpful and friendly - spoke English and German. The area was safe and well policed, apparently having been 'cleaned up' since I... more

The cleaning-lady is very nice and does what she can in the very badly maintained building, but she is not allowed to change your bed linen and can only give you one little towel every day. You have to share WC with 6-8 rooms, and there is no toilet paper, because as they say in the reception, “people eat it,... more

Hotel was in a semi red light district which has various sex shops all around. It is on a pedestrian street with a lot of bars, so the noise level on the weekends was horrific. Ear plugs, wine, and Benadryl were not enough to soften the noise. We left the hotel at 6:45am Sunday to meet up with a tour... more

This hotel was just great! It was in an excellent location and is brilliant value for money. The hotel was clean and the staff all friendly. The room we were in had a toilet and shower and was very large- much bigger than I was expecting. Overall we had a great time in Paris and everything was so easy to... more

Staff spoke english and was nice. Hotel and rooms tidy and had a great view (bedding was NOT changed on daily basis). Location of the hotel is great!, there are a few sex shops on the same street, but that's what the area is famous for and has tons of history regarding the oldest profession. Positive: 1. The location is... more
