The positives of Nord et Champagne hotel is its proximity to Gare du Nord station and thats it. Rest the hotel is below average in all parametrs including cleanliness, security, service, courtesy. The rooms are too small, doors dont bolt from inside ( atleast he one i got) and there is constant fear of someone trespassing. Its also not a... More

When I pay top dollar and stay in good quality hotels I expect good service in nice surroundings and I must not compare that to my one night stay at the hotel. To be honest I stayed here because it was cheap and was near the Gare du Nord station ( short easy walk) . Not the best entrance but... More

Really nothing good about this hotel. Poor location, bad neighbourhood, terrible customer service (aside from the language barrier), felt unsafe, terrible room, and awful bathroom. Basically, just nothing good about it, besides maybe a decent price. Not worth it! Stay somewhere else!

I stayed at this hotel just one night in the weekend. This hotel is located quite good and you can walk directly from gare du nord and gare de l'est to this hotel. Nevertheless the street is a slum with mess everywhere. When I arrived and had my check in the receptionist was only busy with his phone calling all... More

Spacious room with a private bath. However, they had bed bugs that kept biting me. One of the Bangladeshi man at the front desk was very rude. Location feels not safe and is very loud. I advise using public transportation in Paris (which runs fairly late) and staying in a nicer neighborhood.

The rooms were a bit shabby but the bathroom was huge with a nice bathtub. However, the pluming is old and therefore there was a sewer like odor. They do not change the sheets very often, maybe once during our two week stay. I only noticed this because there was a stain on the sheet (we spilled a bit of... More

Whats Good. 1) Courteous Staff, All know English. 2) Well Connected. 5 minutes Walk from Gare De L'Est station and 2 stops from Gare Du Nord which is the largest station in Paris. Large fresh foods market is right next to the hotel. You can have fresh Oysters with Champagne in the market itself. 3) Very Large and Clean Bathroom/Toilet... More

Near the hotel are shops and restaurants that open until late. Two supermarkets nearby. Two train stations nearby which makes travelling relatively simple and there is direct train to the airport. Hotel has rather steep and narrow. Lift wasnt really helpful. Wifi has to be purchased and only usable in the lobby. Lucky there's a comfy area to chill and... More

In June I, a man aged 77, stayed here for 5 nights with my teenaged granddaughters and found it an excellent 2 star hotel. The rooms were on the 5th floor overlooking the rear of the building, one a twin and the other a double bed. The rooms were larger than I expected though there was no dressing table or... More

We stayed here for 3nights, we were slightly worried after reading other reviews about the area and hotel. Both my husband and I are in our early 50s. Firstly the hotel is a little dated but on the surface clean enough.Sheets were clean as was the bathroom yes if you looked a little closer you could find dust in the... More
