This was an outstanding location and a spotlessly clean room. For the price, this is a great deal. From the 5th floor, we had a view of Notre Dame and the street noise was not problematic at night. You can walk to lots of attractions from here. The bathroom was very nice with a shower that was tiled with rock.... More

This hotel is immaculately clean with small but perfectly formed rooms. Nothing was broken and rooms included a safe and wall mounted hairdryer. Wifi is incredibly unreliable and there's no coffee making facilities but who wants instant coffee when you've tons of cafes all around you. There's a fantastic market in the square over the road on a Saturday and... More

We came during off season to save money but is it still €100 per night. We are from London and acquainted with high price but as industry professionals we expect some value for our money. We requested two beds but were forced to share a bed at the same price. Room was tiny, like with most big cities. No insulation,... More

Best value for money in Paris! Perfect location, within walking distance from all major attractions, nightlife, restaurants and shopping heaven. Public transports 2mn walk away from the hotel, even Chatelet-Les Halles (RER train from both airports) is a mere 10-15mn walk. The hotel is simple but well put together. Keep in mind that you are paying 100 Eu per night.... More

We have just returned from an enjoyable stay in this hotel. The hotel is in a lively and easily accessible area of Paris, extremely close to Notre Dame. The hotel is great base for a visit, and suited our needs as simply a place to stay. The room was clean and comfortable, although a little small- especially the bathroom! I... More

I've stayed in many hotels in Paris. At €100, this is the cheapest. Bang in the heart of the equivalent of London's Oxford Street (Rue de Rivoli) and a walk away from major attractions (Notre Dame, Rive Gauche, Louvre), the location is perfect and, unsurprisingly, a little noisy at night. Rooms are good and, of course, pretty small. And I... More

Grand Hotel du Loiret is probably the best choice you can make for a few days stay in Paris! But let’s start from the beginning… If you are arriving at CDG airport (terminal 1 or 2) you can take the RER B train to Chatelet Les Halles (leaves at every 15 minutes; cost 9.75 euro; takes around 30 minutes to... We were a little nervous about this hotel as it was cheap - 100 euros a night, and right in the city center, so we expected little for the cheap price. We followed the room tips on here and asked for a room on a higher floor. The first thing my husband said when we walked into our room was... More

Great location in the Marais district, close to subway and to the Seine river. Walking distance from Louvre, Notre Dame etc...Nice small hotel, clean rooms, functional bathrooms. No luxury but a fair rate. You don not need more to have a good night sleep. Only minus: breakfast not included (nine euros) and Wi-Fi did not work during my week end... More

Staying in Le Marais

Neighborhood Profile
Le Marais
The Marais is a winding maze of multi-faceted streets that beg to be explored. It bursts with small boutiques, historic buildings, cozy traditional restaurants, and hidden parks. Around each corner, you'll come across little gems of architecture spanning the centuries, from understated medieval towers to classical libraries and 17th century splendor. This neighborhood unites a rich mix of people of all ages, but it's best known for the gay scene mostly in the south and the Jewish community around Rue des Rosiers.
