Our room was small but functional. The bathroom was tiny but ok for one person at a time. The shower head hanger does not work, so it is just placed on top of the faucet. There is supposed to be a clothing line that you can pull out in the shower, but that is also broken. The hotel is walking... More

The room and especially the bathroom was very small but this is usual in Paris. The room was clean and the staff very friendly. The location is very convenient and provides a perfect starting point for day trips in and around Paris. Overall a great hotel.

In Paris location is paramount. We chose the Hotel De Loiret for several reasons. 1) We wanted to be in Le Marais 2) Near Rue de Rivoli 3)Lift and reviews This hotel is not fancy but it is perfectly located. Plus it had a lift - and because it is a fairly small property - the lift was always available.... More

I've been to Paris many times and I can honestly say that for 100 euros a night this hotel is perfect. It's location can't be beat if you want to be in the heart of Paris. All attractions are within a short subway ride and the subway stop is only a block away. The rooms are surprisingly large for a... More

This hotel was located in a very convenient location to get everywhere easy in Paris. With the metro in such close proximity we had Paris at our fingertips. As well this hotel was much nicer than expected. The room was the MOST spacious of all 3 hotels I stayed in Paris. We had a great view out our windo, the... More

We stayed 3 nights (Doublebed Room without breakfast) in this Hotel. The Price was 100 EUR per Night and this is a very good price compared with other hotel rates in this area and Paris. The hotel is perfect located in beautiful Marais - 5 minutes walk from Metro Station "Hotel de ville" and 10 minutes walk from the Notre... More

Ok... My reason for giving this hotel 4 stars is mostly due to the location, and their ability to still provide us with a room after a mishap...no fault of the hotel. We were only stayed 1 night, but the hotel kept our luggage for as long as we needed on the second day. The room was nice, clean and... More

I would recommend this hotel for a short stay in Paris. The rooms are small. We had three rooms booked. So I saw them all. This did not matter. We expect when in Paris...everything is compact. The rooms were modernised and clean. The bathroom although small were very clean and fresh looking. TV French channels only. Good for learning French... More

We stayed here for two nights in May and for the price the room was ok. We were located on the first floor room 104 which is one of the corner rooms and from reading reviews these rooms are smaller than the others. I would suggest requesting a room on the upper floors (there are 7 floors in total) There... More

Great value, wonderful location, comfortable bed, clean room and shower, nice staff but when they say that the rooms are small, they mean it. Our room had no room for a bureau and if you put two carry-on bags on the floor, there'd be no room to walk. So caveat emptor.

Staying in Le Marais

Neighborhood Profile
Le Marais
The Marais is a winding maze of multi-faceted streets that beg to be explored. It bursts with small boutiques, historic buildings, cozy traditional restaurants, and hidden parks. Around each corner, you'll come across little gems of architecture spanning the centuries, from understated medieval towers to classical libraries and 17th century splendor. This neighborhood unites a rich mix of people of all ages, but it's best known for the gay scene mostly in the south and the Jewish community around Rue des Rosiers.
